English Football, End of Season 2007-2008

Not forgetting the sleeping giants of Rochdale are you?

Typical bloody Villa. A win against Wigan and we are in pole for a UEFA spot, so we bloody lose. To Wigan. Pie eating, whippet racing bastards that they are.

At least the scum might go down.

I’m sensing a certain hostility here

Season after next it is being renamed the Interplanetary Super-League Premier Division Gamma I’m told.

What gave you that idea?

Ok, someone please explain “Frank the Thai” to me. Whence Frank?

Shinawatra…Sinatra…

Ah, okay, those vaguely rhyme. I guess they could both have the nickname “Chairman of the Board” as well.

Oh I dunno, just a certain tingling of my spider senses :stuck_out_tongue:

Incidentally you forgot “ferret herding perverts” in your eloquent description of Wiganites

Which part of “ferret herding perverts” do you consider an insult? :dubious:

Well not many people know this but Wiganites herd the ferrets into underground chambers and practice unspeakable sexual acts on their innocent charges.

Bastards

The ferrets practice unspeakable sexual acts on their innocent charges?

Please re-read my post.

Honestly, these Brummighamites

I can’t read what you write. It sounds like someone sat in the Rovers Return telling everyone how grim life is.

Fuck the lot of you.

I should say, at this juncture, I really have nothing against Wigan. Just that we should have stuffed them. And if they had a shred of decency they would have played their blind, under-12 team to let Villa win, and prevent Everton stinking up Europe next year.

Then again, even if they had, Villa would still have conspired to lose.

I support Swansea City and it’s been one of our best seasons for over 20 years.

In spite of Ken Bates and his propensity for taking legal actions about all and sundry we were finally presented with the League 1 trophy on Saturday.

Having now read through the result of the hearing I’m surprised that it wasn’t published at least a couple of weeks ago.

I still don’t know the reason for that but it deprived us of having the presentation on our last home game when we had an almost full stadium,to having it at Brighton, where the maximum amount of our fans that could be accommodated was 900 or so.

There, there my son, just a bit of banter, innit?

Anyways you can go a long way to redeeming yourself if you beat manure in the last match.

I’m banking on you my friend

I think the chances of us beating United are about one in 15813467135781547014578016780154713, seeing as the Premiership seems to be riding on the game. Bolton vs. Chelsea though—Bolton went through a period where they couldn’t lose to Chelsea even when they tried!

Ah sweet sweet virtual safety. For Bolton to go down now the following needs to happen

Chelsea 6 - 0 Bolton
Derby 0 - 5 Reading

&

Portsmouth to lose to Fulham at Fratton Park.

Its unlikely, but has just enough plausability to be slightly worrying

Chelski are certainly capable of stuffing Bolton at the Bridge

Who would bet against Derby losing heavily?

Portsmouth have nothing to play for in th eleague and are looking forward to a cup final.

The scene is set for a very dramatic finish!

Personally I hope us and Fulham stay up. From the positions we were in a few weeks ago, for both Bolton and Fulham to survive will be pretty damn amazing.
