I always thought it was funny when NIN closer came on the radio.
I wanna ___ __ like an animal.

Weirdly, it’s apparently illegal to curse or swear profanely in public in Vriginia.

My wife recently ran afoul of this gem when she had a disagreement with a store owner. She did not swear, but the store owner called the police and claimed she HAD cursed. So far, she hasn’t been served/ticketed/arrested on this bogus charge, but I suppose something might still be percolating through the system.

Apparently it’s fine to say “Macaca” and “nigger” in Virginia, and it’s fine to aggressively curse a public servant executing his duties if you’re juuuuuuust over the river…speaking of which, in Maryland. right next door, it’s acceptable for the authorities to strangle to death a suspect in jail and no charges will be filed; but they will come after you if you say a bad word.

So apparently it IS a big deal.

Neither one of those say what you claim they say.

This is such an obvious tactic that there must be a reason it’s not done. My guess is that the pirates say that if their guys are attacked on their way in, the crews of the other ships they have currently hijacked will be killed.
