This game… Is not as good as The Binding of Isaac. If you haven’t played The Binding of Isaac, chances are that no matter where you’re coming from, you’re going to like The Binding of Isaac and all its permutations more than Enter the Gungeon, so get that first.
Now, once you’ve played as much The Binding of Isaac as you want, get this, because this is a pretty darn good top-down shooter roguelike. Not stellar, but really, really solid, and good enough to make me want to keep playing despite how punishing it gets.

Here’s a first tip from me: if you’re not good enough to get past, like, floor 3, the Prime Primer is a huge waste of money. Don’t bother; it does almost nothing unless you collect the other items (which you get on much later floors).
