Enterprise Bounty spoilers

DS9 was slow, and less than metaphoric. End of discussion. <GRIN>

Quoted because it’s true.

All right, DS9 aside. I love the gaps they seem to fill in – albeit hamfistedly – in Enterprise. I also dig the 80s-style theme. Bryan Adams got me laid!

Congrats, Mr. B.. I’m sure we’re all very happy for you.
BTW, what’s the “B” stand for? “Bean”? “B Natural”? Just curious
[size=1]not a big DS9 fan myself, but I don’t really have anything to say against it. Enterprise is mighty silly, but it’s cute and there’s Panda.size]

You liked that? Didn’t do it for me. Made me a little queasy. I liked dirty Trip with his hair all tousled, though. :lascivious smiley:
Hey, here’s a nitpicky grammar nazi thing from the “Please sacrifice me to save the ship” bit:

Malcolm: “It’s been an honor to have served with you, Sir.”
Quantum: “Hey, you’re talking in the past tense, there, Malcolm!”

Correct me if I’m wrong, but he WASN’T talking in the past tense! He was talking in the present perfect tense. PRESENT perfect. Not PAST perfect.
That annoyed me.
If they wanted to use that line, it shoulda been:

Malcolm: “It was an honor serving with you, Sir.”
Quantum: “Hey, you’re talking in the past tense, there, Hotpants - er, Malcolm!”

The Groaci are said to speak in the present perfect tense in the Keith Laumer stories.

“To destroy certain files instanter!”

>>>BTW, what’s the “B” stand for? “Bean”? “B Natural”? Just curious<<<
It’s a nihilistic-type thing. You, know, just “B?”

Ah. Neat.

Taxol resistance? Taxol resistance?! You mean you’d rather find a cure for cancer than type in quips on a message board? Slacker!

It’s Russell Watson…but that doesn’t actually make a difference.

Huh. So I’m not the only one who likes it.

There’s a whopping two of us now!

Sounds like Bryan Adams.

Eh?
Rod Stewart does a much better version of it. I’m sure they couldn’t afford it, though.

Whatchoo talkin’ 'boot?

Who knows, in these threads?

I thought we were talking about ENT’s theme song.

Maybe we were talking about something else entirely. That happens too.

I used to lake Byron Adams. Till he started making those lane ass candy and love for losers type of songs.

Rod Stewart committed the same type of crime. Give me back Maggie Mae.

Eee Gawd, the world is full of evil now.

I liked that song from Prince of Thieves. Hated the movie though.

I was one of the people who didn’t jump on the “I hate that theme song” bandwagon. I thought it was a decent, if not great song. My wife, on the other hand, makes me back up so she can hear the song if I try to fast forward through it when we’re watching it on tape.

The montage of ships of exploration at the beginning is pretty darn cool, too.

Never seen it.

Past perfect and out of control

You know what sucked? TOS and everything about it.

::d&r::

NCB, although you haven’t seen the movie (I assume that you’re talking about Prince of Thieves), I’m sure you’ve heard the song. It’s “Everything I do (I do it For You)” And it’s probably one of those “love for losers” songs that you hate.
