Enterprise Judg(e)ment spoilers

Critics say a rip off Star Trek 6, but it’s about the Klingon judical system. They’re Klingons. How different can a verdict be?

A bit of Rhasamon stealing, too, with Archer’s version vs the Klingon Captain now GIB.

I liked it. Minor space battle stuff, an interesting plot although I think it’s been done on Bonanza and the Simpsons. A better interaction between T’Pol and Tripp; “Are you just gonna leave him?” Backula was better than usual. Hertzel, Hergel, Martok was his usual excellent gruff self. Meriweather had lines. Malcolm didn’t offer to die. No dog. I rate it eight of ten.

GIB=Guy In Back=Weapons Officer

So does Archer go to a dilithium prison/mine and meet up with a shapeshifter?

Once again, didn’t suck. And I’m glad. That torpedo looked pretty powerful compared to the ones that blew up the wisp ship last week. The ending was fairly predictable, but it wasn’t poorly delivered.
I could see this leading up to the Klingon/Human rivalries. Ya see, the Advocate guy and a few others try to change the system. They’re suceeding and gaining ground in the scientific community. The Empire doesn’t like it and tries to put a stop to it. It ends up with the slaughter of most of the Klingon elites and a domination by the warrior class. This holds klingon technology back and devistates the Empire’s economy. They trace it back to the Advocate and find out that the humans were somewhat responsible. The Empire blame the humans and the warrior class follows suit. So we see years of hatred to the humans for their part in holding back the Empire.
Oh and in this episode the T’Pol/Panda/Porthos/Hoshi shower and decon scene was unessisary and rushed. I would have liked to see them talk out their troubles rather than nude oil wrestling. I mean, how many times are they going to use that plot device? Geez…

I thought it was interesting that Senator Palpatine was allowed to leave even after he admitted to being the one who ordered the clone army in the first place and was implicated in the plot against Princess/Senator Amidala. I mean, sure, he has powers that boggles the imagination, but he is just one man! And there were still many Jedi in that room, not just ObiWan.

The rape of the Princess/Senator was an unexpected twist, though. I thought the shocking attack was what finally turned Annikan, but, as usual, there was more.

The Pogrom initiated by the newly turned Darth was a masterpiece of evil by design and intent. The fear the Emperor/Senator showed was very justified. Which was why he manufactured the intricate fake murder of the Princess/Senator. Only by believing it was the other Jedi’s fault would Annikan’s hatred build up to the point of genocide. Which finally turned him to the dark side.

I just wish we didn’t have to wait so long between movies. I’m going to watch Episode IV: A New Hope now and see if I catch any glaring errors, but it seems to have been very carefully written.

Good movie.

Yep. And then he kisses “himself.”

Thank God they included the Zerbra men From Jupiter Seven. Otherwise it would be completely forgettable.
That and Hoshi in prision…

One of these days we’ll have a serious Enterprise discussion and various Trek Dopers will die of shock.

bite your tounge, boy! The Vulcan Science Directive has determined that a serious Enterprise discussion is impossible!

Yes

No.

B’OH! :smack:

“B’Oh”? Were you referring to B’Oh Derrick? Is she in this episode?

I’m REALLY surprised that those of you who’ve seen it thought it didn’t suck. Cause from the teaser, it really looked to me like something with vast and enormous suck-potential. Honestly, I’m going to be disappointed if I don’t see at least a LITTLE suckiness.

I’ll also be disappointed if I don’t see any of the Adventures of Commander Underpants in this one. Yay for underpants!

Re: Porthos Absentia, as mentioned by carni - Did Porthos die or something, when we weren’t looking? He wasn’t around last week, either. I kind of hope he’s gone for good - much as I like animals, the little bastard reminds me just a bit too much of Wesley Crusher.

I’ve never seen Porthos and Wesley together at the same time…

I don’t want to see Porthos and Wesley together at the same time.

Especially in Decon.
Ugh, ugh. That hurt my very soul!

I was insinuating that they are the same individual, although as you inadvertantly suggest, the Traveler may indeed have beastiality components to his personality as well as pediophilic tendencies.

Ah, I clearly perceive you insinuations, now, and indeed I do see a potential shared identity between Mr. Crusher and his canine doppelganger.

This factor, in a situation of intimate mutual decontamination, would imply an autoerotic fixation, in addition to the pedophiliac and bestial tendencies you mentioned.

To reiterate: Ugh.

I had my canine’s doppleganger removed when he was nuetered.

It’s responsible pet owners like you that…er, that…well, that do something, and very important it is.

This is Bob Barker (Woof!) Reminding you to have your doggy’s balls cut off! (Rowf…HUH? )

Ooga Booga! Unk unk, Ungawa… Urg ugh eghs bennidict Ugh.

[BAM BAM BAM!!!]
Ugh?*
