Enterprise Catwalk spoiler

Would you like some cheese, Whinus? :stuck_out_tongue:

Green cell? Vulcanian donation?

It’s not that I wouldn’t do it; it’s that I can’t/shouldn’t. Somewhat TMI, but essentially: I would like to donate but it wouldn’t be good for anyone but me (autologous donation only).

It’s my own STIGMA!!!

I keep getting emails telling me this thread has a new reply but it doesn’t. Did somebody give Tars access to the Dope’s email server or somethin’?

NCBesque hijack : I killed a pet hamster a few years ago by spinning its exercise wheel really fast while she was in it.

You don’t want to start with me, do you Mr. I-complain-everytime-I-don’t-think-I’m-getting-enough-attention-or-sympathy? :dubious:
Truce?

I don’t whine for sympathy! Just for attention!

Wait… I didn’t say that. :smack:

I was playing with the squeeze’s cat today, making it walk on its hind legs.

It looks kind of robotic, I hold its ‘hands’ out in front of it, and slowly move it forward. It has to move its legs or else it’s being dragged along and it doesn’t like to be dragged along.

So, it ‘walks’ in these funny, jerky movements.

All the while, I’m ventriliquising it saying, “I am Kringles! Fear me! Or feel my wrath!”

The cat tends to look around rather a lot while I’m helping it live up to its full potential.

BTW, this isn’t a hijack at all. It’s about Catwalk.

HEEEE!!!

Icon Wars

It’s a movie.

Check your email, Whinus. ;j

Check this!

NCB: That was fantastic! You have provided entertainment even for my 77-year-old mom. She loved it.

Link Wars!

Give it a few seconds and don’t try to play it.

I can imagine that that would decrease the cuteness factor as a vital consideration. Fortunately, my veins are right close to the surface, and they usually have no trouble finding them. So I can be more frivolous in my selection of vampires.
They worry about me, though, because I’m little. That was one thing that was especially cute about the Cutest Phlebotomist Ever - I think he was new, didn’t quite know what he was doing, and he was terribly worried that I was going to die, or something. He was very solicitous. Also cute.

Sigh

Does “phle” derive from the same root as “flea”, or “tick”?

You should have gone with it - acted like a fainting wilting flower. Or if that’s too much, you should have told him that you were scared and needed him to hold your hand - guys are really suckers for that sort of thing, especially from women that are little (and I bet cute, too).

Don’t encourage her, Liunus.
Damn.

Blushing cutely

I really should have been all weak and womany and stuff, but I’m a)too stupid to have thought of that and b)too arrogant to do the wilting flower thing.

So I’m stuck swooning from afar.
And I don’t know about the “phle” thing, carni… Dictionary Time!
Mmm. Phlebotomy. From Greek. phlebo meaning “vein”, tomos meaning “to cut”
“Flea” is from proto-Germanic flaukh, meaning “flea”, predictably enough.
So they’re different roots.

That was a joke, Kn(difficultconcept)ckers.
But thanks, I guess.

I pretty much figured it was, but I got all interested in finding out where they did come from, that I kind of got distracted from being amused.

Kn(research nut)ckers

Politics: poly L., “many” and ticks, Gr, “Blood sucking”.

That can’t be right! “Poly” is a Greek root, not a Latin root!

Politicians.
I rest my case.
