Enterprise: Cogenitor (SPOILERS)

Neener neener. :stuck_out_tongue:

Synopsis from startrek.com:

So Trip’s ADD puts the ship in danger again? Color me surprised.

i’ll wait until after this episode airs before i go all Microbiology Degree on the episode’s science’s behind, and give it the shadow of the doubt they pull it off accurately for now.

oh, and comedic Airplane! responce= Cervaise
(quote me if you don’t get it)

Oh, no, I got it, you strangegreenwarrior. And don’t call me Shirley.

Now you’ve got me curious about the microbiology. I googled, but I couldn’t find anything. Apparently it’s a legal term, too. Hmmm.

I like this thread better!

Two threads again? Whoo!

We may already have it covered.

Ooh, can I open up an evo-devo can o’ nitpicking whoop-ass on this episode? I’d enjoy that. But I have to see it first. Who, knows, maybe they’ll get it all right… Maybe the screenplay was written by Stephen J. Gould from beyond the grave. That would be enlightening AND spooky.

There’s an error about “undiscovered” elements; we know what all the blank spaces on the Periodic Table are.
Watch the dang thing.

“Written By: Rick Berman & Brannon Braga”

No way. No way in Hell.

great. expect dialog like “We have three sexes because our DNA has three basepairs and is made of turtlewaxium”

As I said, there is a reallly stupid Periodic Table reference, but it’s a great story. Keep your shirt on for another 6 hourrs, 10 minutes.

Yeah, Tars. Just keep it on already.

Hey, hey! We didn’t tell you to keep your shirt on, Kn*ckers! You either, viva!

Porthos!

Better yet, your very own T’Boobs!

Yeah, I’ll bet it was.

Well, wouldn’t you know it, Travis didn’t get a body scan.

Too early for the thread on next week’s episode to appear, so I’ll comment on the trailer here:

I am Phlox of Borg. You will maintain a positive attitude. Resist, and you will be assimilated.

Good one - I liked it. Nice to see Malcolm get laid (I’ve always like Malcolm). For the first 45 minutes I just knew Archer was going to end up making another self-righteous speech in support of Trip
and that the aliens would see the light and start treating the cogenitors the way Trip thought they should. I even liked T’Pol in this one – being all stern and captain-like with Trip. The ending was totally unexpected and I was happy with it – damn! Archer makes the right decision, and makes the right speech to Trip and makes him feel like sh*t, as well he should.

I’m in the other thread.

Just popped in to say that THIS was awesome.

As I said in the other thread, it would have been interesting to have a Black person play the Cogenitor.
