Enterprise First Flight spoilers

“The Tars Tarkas Show”

“The Middle of the Afternoon Show”

“Who Wants To Marry a Martian?”

I dunno.

I’ll change the title of the show every night.

“It’s the Tars Tarkas Late Night (insert funny glurge here) show!”

Third base!

SO, er, was the fight scene unrealistic?

Damn it all to hell!

I had a great and pithy (quite pithy actually) post with all sorts of show names and intros involving about 15 different Dopers, and the hampsters ate it!

I’m not going to try to recapture my stream of consciousness for a redo, so you all have just missed out on what was possibly the best evar Trek Doper post.

oh wel…

I suggest you fool everybody, and call it the Tars Tarkas Late-Night (etc.), then have it show at noon.
Better yet, call it the Tars Tarkas Late-Night (etc.), and advertize it as showing at noon, when it’s ACTUALLY on at 7 AM.

Yes, your viewers will be few, but loyal. And confused.

l

(that was for NCB, who’s having such a bad time with the ham*sters that I thought he could use a little help.)

Heck, they’d be confused even if i had a regular time slot! Especially with the show we’d film entirely using action figures!

(NCB, you need to learn to highlight and control-C every post you write on this board before hitting submit!)

Every post?!
Why you gotta be pull’n a knife out on me?

I aint’s be gott’n no weapons!

I love-ded you, man. Like a brother.

hey, i have a text file on my desktop that at the bottom of the CD track info has a space where i paste posts that i write while the board goes down so i can post them later. Be prepared it my motto, i stole it from a Boy Scout (he wasn’t prepared for my theft)

The Tars Tarkas Show!

That means you’d only watch those episodes of Star Trek: Voyager where the holographic doctor is being operatic? (Or maybe Star Trek: Insurrection?)

You mean like how last night’s Conan O’Brian show was done entirely in claymation?

“Phlox Phactor.”

I don’t get it.

It was a non-sequitur; did you not recognize your favorite thing?

“Fear Factor.”

I thought it was a company that made shampoo.

What is this Fear Factor?

Is it a new make up for really ugh-a-ly women?

There is a newsgroup for Enterprise.
It is named, strangely and inaccurately enough,
TV.startrek.enterprise

The Phlox Factor maybe the phenomenon of a crewperson being able to disobey your orders according to their culture and/or the condition of their alimentary canal.

Alimentary, my dear Carni.

The game is afoot! (give or take a few inches)
