Enterprise Future Tense Spoilers

How can you people say that was good?

There was no point!!! Unless they were setting up something farther down the road this is like a chapter in a book. There’s no conclusion to be drawn from it!

AGH!

JC, would you have preferred another episode with wimpy Klingons à la “Marauders”?

At least that one had the basic, setup-problem-resolution.

This read like an introduction to a novel, not like a complete story.

All bets are off if they make it part of a larger story arc. But this one didn’t stand on its own.

Au contraire.

The Tholian captain/commander/head-honcho appeared on the Enterprise’s viewscreen in the TOS episode “The Tholian Web”. He looked like a great big lump of quartz.

Help out a guy who missed some backstory.

Why did the Andorians disappear?

i linked to a picture above!! and i linked to a picture in the thread we had when they announced the Tholians would show up! No one pays any attention to me! And i had to wait 40 mins for the stupid bus and missed the show! Now i have to wait for Sunday! And why can’t we get some chicks in prison episodes?

Because the Andorian-Vulcan peacetalks have been moved to Andoria.

Also, saw on www.Trektoday.com that there MAY be Borg in an upcoming episode. If that happens, there will be much brickthrowing through the tv.

So you’re telling me the Vulcan’s wiped out the Andorians?

There seems to be no main characters in that plot synopsis. But i wouldn;t put it past B and B.

No. Archer Mediate a ceasefire, and one of the conditions was that Talks for a permnament(spelling is for the weak) peace treaty were moved to Andoria, rather than Vulcan.

You want episodic programming? Watch a sitcom.

Don’t forget that history was changed in First Contact, Spice Breath.
There are Borg wasted in the past by Picard and Co. on Earth.
Repeat to yourself very slowly:
“Janeway didn’t do it. Picard did it. Janeway didn’t…”

I think it’s kinda of sucky myself, but it’s canon that Borg were on Earth in the 20th century.

I know, I know…but the point is B&B ran the “Threat” of the Borg into the ground on Voyager and as such I think they should be waiting awhile to trot out the Borg.

That’s a truly evil thought, Ghost.
I hate you.

Say what?! When did that happen?! I guess I missed it on Voyager. Want to tell me what happened to those Borg?

Oh yeah?

In First Contact.

In the movie “First Contact” the Borg flee to the past with Picard in pursuit.
Cochrane’s assistant sees them as do presumably many other Earth people. Voyage did make use of it in the episode where 7 of 9’s family was studying the Borg, but Voyager didn’t do this one, dude.

Fortunately I am wearing a kidney protector 2000 over my face on the advice of my pal, Tars Tarkas.
Ha!

I been thinkin’ and it hurts.
The Borg was a logical choice for an ongoing antagonist on Voyager. They were far away from the whatever quadrant, so you couldn’t have the usual bad guys. The Borg were far away when Q introduced them, and Guinan’s folks knew them from long ago so they could be spread “out there”. Janeway & co. couldn’t keep on messing with, say the Kazon, because they were leaving the area for home.
But they would certainly be out of place on Enterprise.
And I can just see them being utilized by some future bad guy in the temporal cold war.
This is gonna suck, Ghost. I’m not going to sleep tonight, maybe not until next season, and it’s your fault.

I don’t WANNA see the Borg on Enterprise. I’m bored of the Borg. I’m all Borged out. I liked them okay on TNG, and couldn’t care less about what the hell species figgered in Voyager, but I don’t want them to be on Enterprise, dammit. We got Andorians; we don’t need no stinkin’ Borg. So there.

I apologize for the oddly childish construction of the preceeding paragraph. I’m feeling petulant.
