Fish taco!
I love those!
Or are you calling me a fish taco?!
You…you little…chipotle!
I’ve never had a fish taco but I love chile rellenos.
Me gusta mucho. Nosho Nacho?
No conozco “Nosho Nacho”.*
*Conozco un poco espanol y es muy malo.
Do you nosh nachos?
Yiddish and Spanish!
Compliments of Torquemada, no doubt.

Okay, finally saw the episode and I liked it despite wanting to hate it.
The only thing that really bothered me was the heavy-handed foreshadowing, like in the final scene where Archer says to T’Pol “So what we’ve actually done is just forestall the invasion until the 24th Century.” Gah. I don’t mind little throwaway lines like Phlox mentioning the Bynars (Binars?) in passing to Malcolm but crap like that really irritates me.
In other news, I’m really starting to like Phlox. He was extraordinary in this episode. If I had some spare money, I’d even like to hunt down a movie or three that John Billingsley’s been in, assuming he has, of course.
And, as always, my love for Hoshi continues to grow. I know she’s Tars’, but I’m waiting for the day that she gets tired of him jerking off to Klingon Bondage porn and realizes she loves me too.
Well, I finally saw it too (though I do have it on tape and will watch it again) and was most impressed–all around a very good episode. So good it’s hard to believe that Brannon and Braga wrote the script! :dubious:
Phlox was excellent! Of course, I’m already enamored of him; I want to know what all that radiation did to him, though! He did say that the after-effect would be most unpleasant or something like that. LOL Perhaps T’Pol will make up for that next week, eh?
Not enough Trip for me, although he’s probably still in the dog house. Was good to see Archer being so authoritative; he’s finally starting to come into his own, I think. And the previews for Bounty only showed T’Pol in Ponn Farr state–no preview of the Tellarite BAH! Guess I’m stuck until Wednesday night.
I never get the previews of the next episode… I feel so unloved.
Well … don’t forget, you’re talking to someone who feels that Star Trek: The Motion Picture was a cinematic masterpiece on par with 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Dude, that’s just sick.
Oh, yeah… by the way, did anyone else think Hoshi was scoping out Phlox while feeding his pet? She seemed to be giving him a pretty sultry look to me but then again, I was staring at her and maybe just read too much into it.
Ooh, ooh… thought of something else while talking to a friend on MSN. Why is it that the Borg in this episode were hurt at all by the phase pistols? Subjectively, they had just fought Picard’s Enterprise maybe only a week or two before and should have already been adapted to phasers.
For example, if I have a kevlar vest on that’ll somehow protect me from armor piercing rounds, a freakin’ musketball sure as hell isn’t going to hurt me.
Bah… nevermind. These drones were on the Sphere when it crashed. They were never in a firefight with the Picard’s crew and thus never adapted to phasers.
The Picard? :dubious:

I think they were throwing a bone to those who thought continuity was violated.

Well, if it means anything, I think those two movies are on par too.
I’m just kidding around. Perhaps I’ll give first-season TNG another chance. But I really think it came into its own around season 4-5.
Ah yes, ST:TNG seasons 4 and 5, where they firmly established the pattern of solving all of their problems with technobabble.
