…and what is it with the underwear?
Dah! I’m in St. Louis this week, where Enterprise airs on Saturday, but i fly back to San Fran Friday, where it airs Wednesday!!! There are rumors of Episode replays on Saturdays, but i’ve never seen them. And what’s this about underwear? (Hoshi?!?!?!?!?:D)
::checks TV guide listings for San Fran::
“Shockwave” will air on KBHK 44 8PM Sunday and on KCBA 35 11PM Sunday.
Tars,
Sorry, Dude.
Archer undies.
DOH!!!
Yes, CP, Archer leapt! LOL When Archer looked at T’Pol and told her, “Don’t tell me time travel doesn’t exist, I’ve done it!” (or words to that effect ;)), I have to admit I was hollering, “Of course he’s done it, he’s Sam Beckett, you foolish Vulcan!”
Wah, I actually only caught the last half hour of the show, so will have to catch it and tape it when it re-airs on Saturday night. Does anyone know when the second season will start up, btw?! I’m going to be quite anxious to see the end of this episode!!!
Guess Archer’s undies scene must have been in the first thirty minutes.

And I can’t remember the coding for the Spoiler Thingie, so here it is the old fashioned way:
SPOILERS AND OTHER STUFF AHEAD …
(seriously, can someone tell me the coding again?)
–Enterprise always runs again here on Sunday nights, but hey, with all the time travel devices available, it shouldn’t be a problem. It’ll turn up somewhere, somewhen, when you least expect it.
–Daniels is back. And then he’s back again, or is he forward?
–T’Pol’s left in charge till September. (That’s when I’d expect new episodes.) I’d also expect lots of conflict between her and Trip as to how to straighten out this mess.
–Yeah, I’ve got a problem with that blue underwear: the Cap’n was only shown in them for a nanosecond!
–Phlox sure took it all in stride when he thought the mission was a wash. I wonder what it would take to get him really pissed.
–The last time Archer snapped at one of his officers, it was T’Pol, way back in the pilot. This time it was Trip. Hmmm…who’s gonna catch it next?
UPN airs it Wed nights at 8p and again on Sundays.
I need a Suliban primer, somebody…Dish Network just started carrying the UPN affiliate a few months ago, so I missed some episodes. Who is Daniels, why is he time traveling, what’s up with this “temporal cold war,” who’s behind the Suliban (I assume we don’t know that yet) what are the Suliban trying to accomplish, etc etc etc
I did like Daniels’ response about which Archer was where, “That hasn’t happened yet”. Right up there with Worf’s “We do not speak of it”. This is science fiction, dammit. Gimme a break!
Too bad the technobabble made it’s first appearence, but perhaps we were intended to be confused as was Trip.
Kirk could get testosterone out of this Suliban thing, Picard could talk his way out, Janeway has her reset button; I think Archer will do some nick of time time traveling and fix things up.
Ivylass:
The Suliban are fighting a time travel cold war with the Feds in the 33rd century. Each alter things in the past to their advantage. Daniels is a guy from the future who was disguised as an Enterprise crewman. He revealed himself to Archer and was suppposedly killed in a previous episode.
A mysterious future person called “Future Guy” by fans communicates with the head Suliban guy in a special chamber thingie and gives him instructions. Fans speculation as to his identity run from Romulans to Spock. ^:)^ Personally, I think he is Wesley Chrusher.
Waking him early with no good reason.
Depends on the local UPN affiliate. The one in DC repeats at 8PM on Saturdays.
Are you sure that’s right? The Suliban are the “modern day” pawns of one of the “factions” in the 33rd century. I did not remember them actually being mentioned as a player in the “temporal cold war”. As to what the “factions” are that has been pretty vague too.
-me
carnivorousplant,
33rd century? Now I’m confused. I originally heard 29th, but in this epiosde i heard 31st. Also, I do not think that the Suliban are actually participating in the war in the future. Rather, they are merely pawns of whatever faction Future Guy works for. I imagine they’ll get wiped out, probably by the bad guys, before the end of the series, explaining why they never show up again.
Additionally, it may be noteworthy that the Suliban are not a particularly advanced people. They were given genetic modifications and some limited futuristic technology in exchange for helping the bad guys out.
I thought the Faction that was using the Suliban was from a few hundred years before the time traveling faction, which is why they can only communicate with the Suliban, and not invade the 22nd century. Of course, then that timeship from Voyager can just show up and stop everything. But that would be too easy. Maby Al will reappear as Future Guy and trap Archer in a constant time travel mess at the end of the series…
AHA!!! Sort of like the Jem H’dar and the Vorta, hmmmmm? Perhaps Future Guy is a…Changeling???
That would explain how the Suliban can slide under doors…it makes sense the Changelings would give the Suliban similar powers that they themselves have, wouldn’t it?
Maybe. Daniels is from the 33rd according to him. Of course he may be lying about everything, including being a good guy.
The Suliban aren’t traveling in time, they are doing the fighting in the Enterprise time for Future Guy. Sorry if I gave the wrong impression.
Future Guy is Porthos. All the signs are there.
Damn.
You know, I’ve never seen them together…
Very shrewd! Thank you. How quickly I forget.
