I’m desperately trying to keep watching this show. I missed last week’s episode, and I was actually watching tv between 8:00pm and 9:00pm and was aware it was on. I thought, “screw it, I’m not in the mood. I’ll catch it Sunday between plays and halftime of the Superbowl.” Then Sunday came and I just didn’t care enough about ENT to flip away from the Superbowl commercials, which were particularly lame this year.
This week I sat down and watched about 20 minutes until I got so bored I went to the computer, which is in a different room, to check my email and surf the net. I did tape the rest of the episode, and I’m sure I’ll watch it, but it’s a struggle.
I find that I’m carrying residual bitterness about the plotlines that annoyed me. T’Pol’s emotional instability bothered me to no end, and since there’s no panda this season, I almost can’t stomach her scenes at all.
Why are the founding races of the Federation races we’ve never heard of before? It’s really starting to piss me off.
