Enterprise - The Council - spoilers

Ummmm. Tripppppp.
Ummmmm.

I try to think of things to say but I just can’t seem to get the words out; I mean if you want me to try to say something, I’ll try, but it’s hard; No I don’t mean That’s hard, I mean It’s hard to think of things to say; Now, don’t get me wrong, I think of lots of things, but I try not to say them all; I know when to shut up; You don’t have to tell me when to shut up; I am perfectly capable of reading the signs when people want me to shut up; I mean some of my best friends have actually told me that they admire the way I can hold back and not monopolize a conversation, or go on and on and on and on about the most mundane things; Take that point about the view from the conference room; They say I always say something useful and don’t just go on and on and on and on about nothing in particular just to fill the void like some people do; And further m- {clang} … {thud}

[sub]you’re welcome, carry on[/sub]

Call me a blind optimist but I never seriously thought ENT was in danger of cancellation. At least, not at this point.

I still hate UPN for even considering it though.

Agreed. UPN will not make its formal announcement until May 20th. Hey, that’s John Billingsley’s birthday. Hope they don’t make it a downer for him–or us.

But we all know that would be impossible. There were no phasers in the 22nd Century. Worf said so in that episode of ST:TNG with that guy who stole a 26th-century time machine. They’d have to get by with a phase pistol or a phase cannon instead.

(And there are no photon torpedoes, either. They use photonic torpedoes. Which of course are entirely different things. )

I said they should use a phaser. I didn’t say where they should get one. [sub]Yeah, good save. They’ll never think I made a mistake now.[/sub] Now, I’d like to see them use a phase cannon to weld a wall plate!

NB: Photon torpedoes are the regular weapon; Photonic torpedoes are lite (and used in gin) - No, they’re less filling!

I want a thread on “Countdown” and I want it now.

Either that or you get The Picard Song.

Or Rasputin’s Penis.

The choice is yours.

30 cm is 11.81 inches.

Yeah, but it includes part of the pelvic muscle base, which isn’t normally included when measuring the length of the wiener on a living man.

Well . . .

I couldn’t wait any long either. I saw the episode last night (I have my resources) but I didn’t start a thread last night, figuring someone else would do it today. But so far, no one else has. I just couldn’t help myself! I had to start it!!!

By the way, where else would we find a link to Rasputin’s penis but on such a thread? Thanks for sharing!

So, how do I get them to count that?

You’re welcome and thanks for the link. I thought it wasn’t quite as bad as the link to taxidermy with dead stuffed squirrels that look like prizefighters. It’s just…sad.

On that note…Aes, did you get the package I sent on Saturday?

Just finished the third tape about ten minutes ago, actually. I can’t say I remember much since I watched like five episodes of Enterprise, three of Joan, two of Friends, and a couple other shows and dozed off at parts due to getting only four hours sleep last night but I really liked the parts I saw.

I’m going to have to bitchslap someone if they lay a finger on my Hoshi.

Well, get read to slap the crap out of some Reptilians…

Whare iz this week’s? :dubious:

NoClueBoy: Where have you been, dude? Or are you pulling our legs? (You scamp, you! ;)) I gave the link right above on this thread!

I was in Rolla, MO, pulling 16 hr days on a Sirloin Stockade remodel. Yeay.

Just now got back. Baby got back. :dubious:

Thanks for the link. I’ll try to catch it on the weekend re-show 'cause apparantly we had a black/brown out or t-storm here or something and my vC[sub]R[/sub] didn’t record the little pecker show.

NoClueGuy: sorry about that A+ writing email glitch. I just forwarded it in a hurry. Finals week and all. Students cheating. Students failing. Paperwork overwhelming. Mean, mean Professor Viva. The Viva should not forward anything during this time.

Here, have some Five-Minute “The Council”
