Some of my best friends post at other message boards, so I know I’m not boardist. But we all know they don’t share our values and culture. Some of them don’t even know who Cecil Adams is! I’m sure everyone else is thinking the same thing; I’m just the only one who is willing to say it. People like that are fine to friend on Facebook, but would you want your daughter to private message one?
Even typing that as satire makes my skin crawl a little.

Just reading page 4 when someone announced the old forum had been re-opened. My first thought was “No! don’t go!”. This thread is really making me giggle.
For some reason this reminds me of the time a bunch of high school girls took over the men’s bathroom I was in because they said they needed extra space to change outfits.
