Some of my best friends post at other message boards, so I know I’m not boardist. But we all know they don’t share our values and culture. Some of them don’t even know who Cecil Adams is! I’m sure everyone else is thinking the same thing; I’m just the only one who is willing to say it. People like that are fine to friend on Facebook, but would you want your daughter to private message one?

Even typing that as satire makes my skin crawl a little.

And what’s up with their weird names? Honey; BeautyTaint; AuntCarol. What’s wrong with decent normal names like Qadgop, Senegoid or aruvqan?

Not that I am boardist but I think they should stick to their own thread. Who knows what kind of posts those types could make? Just saying.

I’m not a boardist either; some of my best friends are posters on other message boards. BUT, I have to agree that letting all of those people run around on a slippery slope is like Blade trying to iceskate uphill in the dark with the sun in their eyes without a paddle. It’s not that we don’t want them, but if we take them, what’s next?
