Entourage -- what am I missing?

Yes, it’s on regular TV, and no it’s not edited as far as I could tell. Certainly it’s liberally peppered with four-letter words and bare flesh.

Well, I say “regular” TV - it’s on ITV2, which is not one of the five main terrestrial channels. It’s only available on cable/digital, but it is a free-to-air channel that anyone can watch with no subscription.
By the way, can I make an astonishing confession? I have NEVER seen an episode of Seinfeld. I can’t explain it – I haven’t consciously tried to avoid it, I’ve just never got round to it.

To elaborate a bit more on the editing issue, just about anything can be said or shown on British TV after the 9pm “watershed”. Something like the Janet Jackson “wardrobe malfunction” incident seems (even more) absolutely unimaginable from this side of the pond – over here nobody would really bat an eyelid if a bare nipple appeared on screen, let alone one covered with jewellery.

Four-letter words are rarely bleeped out after 9pm, which frankly is not necessarily a good thing, as a lot of modern writers seem to think that swearing is funny ipso facto, hence there’s no need to write actual jokes.

How great it must be to live in a rational country.

What on earth are you doing in this forum? Get to the video store and rent the whole damn series. (Normally this is where I’d warn you about ignoring the hype, but it’s well deserved).
