Epstein Files => Trump Impeachment & Conviction?

Are you for real? She belongs in a prison cell with very little freedom.

After meeting with Blanche she was transferred from a prison where she was kept in a cell to a minimum security prison camp. So rather than being held like most pedophiles and those who commit or facilitate sexual assault on minors she is now in a dormitory style prison camp.

This is a place intended for short term prisoners, typically 5 year sentences or less. Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years.

There is much lower security and typically no fences in these types of prisons. She has also been provided with special gourmet meals among other things.

Here’s an article with extensive details:

It’s understandable why Maxwell would want out of her previous location, Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Tallahassee, a low-security women’s prison in Florida. In 2023, the Justice Department Office of Inspector General performed an unannounced inspection of FCI Tallahassee and found moldy, bug-infested food and leaking roofs. That same year, The Appeal reported rampant sexual abuse at the prison.

That’s where she was before. Now she’s in a prison where she gets to pet puppies!

Which was - a low-security women’s prison, Now she is in a minimum security prison. Have you ever inspected or been in such places? As a Member of the County Civil Grand Jury we had to inspect such places. Except for one minimum security place for non-violent MINORS, none of them we inspected were nice places. Not even close.

You cite also said-

Maxwell, like every other incarcerated person, has the right under the Eighth Amendment of the Constitution to adequate living conditions and freedom from brutality.

She had good lawyers and like anyone with Good expensive lawyers, they are the squeaky wheel. If she was threatened, her lawyers can get her moved. If anyone has good lawyers, they can do the same. Yeah, that is kinda unfair, but that is life.

And if she had not been associated with Epstein, her sentence would have been lighter (Federal guidelines suggest 15 years, not 20) So, she got a heavier sentence, and then a not so nasty prison. She also does not get a puppy.

She is in prison. It is not a nice place. It is also dangerous.

She is in a dormitory, low security prison without fences where she is allowed to play with puppies and get special gourmet meals rather than in a minimum security prison locked up in a cell with limited interaction with others. As befits a convicted pedophile. These are individuals who are not put into low security prisons. The difference is much larger than you seem willing to acknowledge.

And this isn’t the result of having good lawyers. It is with them striking a deal with the personal lawyer of POTUS to keep her mouth shut and who is serving the most corrupt President in our history. I’m puzzled why you are making excuses for this corruption.

That facility has fences- but not the really tall fences topped with razor wire fences.

She is not allowed to play with puppies-

I can not find any reliable sources that says she gets special gourmet food- NY Post?

and this cite says “unlikely”

L arry Levine, founder of Wall Street Prison Consultants and a former federal inmate, was skeptical of the whistleblower allegations. With special meal claims, for example, Levine said inmates figure out how to prepare and eat bespoke meals, including by pilfering food from the kitchen.

“I used to have omelets and chicken breast and veal parmesandelivered to my cell that was made by an inmate,” he said. “It was ‘special’ food because no one else had it.”

Levine said it was “possible” BOP staff were preparing food for Maxwell but thought it very unlikely. “That would cause big, big, big problems with the inmates … Why is she getting this and we have to eat this crap here?” he said. “It would cause civil unrest in there.”

So, it seems there are a lot of claims not backed up with evidence.

No, in a minimum security prison, you have plenty of interactions with other inmates.

I am not “making excuses” I am correcting incorrect claims. She is in prison, with a 20 year term, which she richly deserved. I do not know exactly why she was transferred, but it seems to have something to do with threats. If you can show it is due to corruption, please do. It may be.

I know you’ll just dismiss it without watching, but this pretty clearly lays out why the Blanche/Maxwell prison interview was problematic.

There already is enough of a public outcry that in any non-MAGA administration, the crowd who wants her put back in a crueler prison environment would have their way.

If the Democrats get back in power, what they should do is reduce sentences and put as many prisoners as reasonably possible in such less restrictive environments. But more likely, and assuming Trump doesn’t commute the sentence, they’ll just move this one prisoner to a worse lockup.

P.S. If Vance is the next president, he’ll also probably put her back in the harsher environment. I think her being in the prison camp is coming from Trump. So no advantage to Republicans here.

Maybe. But I would assume a lateral move to a similar level facility, not to a camp. If all it took was good lawyers, those good lawyers would be very busy.

Yes, yes, and no, not really.

Yeah. So far as we’ve been told there’s no mention of Vance in the Files, so he’d have no incentive to keep her from spilling what she knows (which she might do if she were angry and, you know, alive).

We’ve got newly leaked pages of testimony from a Jane Doe who claims Trump raped her when she was 13.

From the article:

“But Deese, who regularly publishes articles with a favorable conservative gloss, was part of a small, select group of people that DOJ brass secretly decided were – unlike the public and members of Congress – able to be trusted with these allegedly ‘duplicative,’ ultra-sensitive files. Entirely unredacted.”

What the fuck? I don’t understand what the DOJ was trying to accomplish here but it wasn’t good.
