It’s starting now. Who will live and who will die? My guess is we find out in September.
I’m not betting on Galant.
So Neela and Pratt are going to a funeral…this is for Army Doc (is tha Gallant?)
If he is not the person that “counts” as the one who bites the big one, my guess is either Kari Weaver, or they will go with a total cop out and have it be Abby’s baby.
What was in the syringe that got stuck in Luka?
I thought I heard Blondie Nurse say “Vek,” but I may have misheard, and even if I didn’t, I still don’t know what that is, but it sounds like it would be a nickname for a drug. I think the bitch said it was whatever she was going to inject into one of the prisoners, so it couldn’t have been that bad, right? I mean, they both just had superficial wounds, so what would be injected? The only thing I can think of would be lidocaine if they had to suture.
As they just said on the show, it was vecuronium, which is a paralytic, Basically, it blocks acetylcholine from stimulating the muscles to contract, including the muscles of respiration. It has no sedative action at all, so they can still hear and feel everything.
Holy fuck!! The bastards got Sam and Alex!
OK…thoughts on that shooting
FIrst off…WORST. COPS. EVER. I thought it was pretty much SOP to NOT fire when they have a hostage? Secondly, judging from who was in the lobby when they were firing off, I want to continue my assertation that it will be Abby’s baby that dies.
Or Jerry.
Abby’s going to loose the baby. Shit Morris would have to be uninjured. Even Jerry’s been shot.
Nooooo! It better not be Jerry.
Did I miss something? Didn’t they have the original guards locked up in that same exam room with Luka? Why hasn’t anyone gone looking for them? For all they know they could have been injured, too.
Poor Kavoc, he’s going to survive and he had to watch Abby collapse helplessly. My money is on Jerry and Abby (& junior). Sam & Alex will surive at least one episode of season 13.
Where was the blood coming from? Was she shot or was she miscarrying? Could we tell?
I think she put her hand to her crotch. Either way, things don’t look good for the baby.
The blood that got smeared on the window looked fairly clotted, so my guess is miscarriage. But miscarraige from what? Surely if she was shot she’d know by now, and a small dive to the floor like that shouldn’t cause one. So it might just be a random miscarriage that just happened to occur right after a shooting.
When I saw the kid in the van, I just rolled my eyes so much it hurt. That kid’s the central focus of a mass fuckup again?!
I hadn’t seen the show in a while, so I’m assuming the prisoner was playing the same character Powers Boothe did a while back.
Ooops, I meant Cole Hauser.
Tonight’s ER was a perfect example of why I no longer make a point to watch the show. The shoot out scene was unexpected, repulsive, gratuitious, sickening, and completely unnecessary. It is bad enough ER constantly kills off characters in very stupid ways. It is inexcusable to for such a formerly respected show to indulge in such an orgy of ugly violence.
This season had some great moments like the episode about Abby’s former professor dying of ALS. But I’m very sorry I watched it tonight.
I still can’t believe they cancelled West Wing but this dreck is somehow still on.
Does extreme stress cause miscarriages?
IMDB lists cast members for the first two episodes of next season, but that really doesn’t tell us much.
That was pretty intense. Where have we seen Galant’s dad before? :smack: Oz, that’s it. He was the warden.
I’ve been a big fan of the show for years. It’s the only show still programmed into my VCR, but this show was a disappointment. I’m tired of shootouts, cast members getting shot, and the whole ridiculous plot of Sam and Alex and her ex. Give it a rest, it’s a lousy plotline.
I think this may be the final nail in coffin for me.
I agree the shootout was ridiculous. I don’t think cops are supposed to blindly shoot up a place full of so many innocent bystanders let alone shoot directly at someone holding a hostage and with all that shooting how did they not manage to hit the “bad guys” even once? I kept expecting Kerry to walk in and yell “What the hell are you all doing? This is a hospital!”.
I also dislike Sam and her evil spawn storylines.
I also don’t see why they have to keep killing off cast members.
