and now a new page. The unexpected turning of Ossomer is hurting…
I must admit I’m struggling to care anymore. This battle has been going on for years without resolution. There are now so many factions here that I need a program to keep them straight, and people keep switching sides. If somebody doesn’t win or die or something soon, I’m gonna demand my money back.
It’s been so long since there was an update that i completely forgot about Ossomer turning back to Jetstone, how did that happen again?
Recall that Erfworld units have a Loyalty stat which commanders can’t see.
Ossomer’s conflicted Loyalty had been making him feel guilty about serving Wanda against Jetstone. Slately was harping on his Loyalty to Jetstone just when Wanda left the city for the Magic Kingdom (and so he was no longer under her direct command).
Much to Wanda’s surprise, Ossomer then Turned back to Jetstone.

New comic, at last they get to the pew!-pew!, although… eh. Can’t tell, but looks like Slately is now sharing the carpet?
They really need to move on to Things Happening. I’m aware that it’s a webcomic, and they’re writing the pacing with the compilation in mind; that doesn’t bother me about webcomics. However, this webcomic stalled out all of its momentum by being down for months and months… but they’ve picked up the story as though they’re carrying on with the plot momentum they’d built up previously. That is a mistake, IMO. Would have better done to start with an in-media-res, or with a quick climax point, to rekindle interest. Because… eh.
They are doing a very good job of showing the results of unlead units fighting i think.
No, I think he’s still using the jetpack that Ace made for him. Check out how he’s floating free in panel 3.

And we can actually see Slately’s jetpack jetting. And that looked like Trammenis in the “brothers reunion” panel.
I had to Google “GNSP” but it was so worth it.
It stands for “Good Night, Sweet Prince”.

Guess Jetstone will be really motivated to pew-pew Archons to get funds by Turn’s end.
So is the real Slately dead and the double has a limited time remaining? In which case the naming of a heir is needed before turns end? Was that what you were referring to Lightray?
Yep. That dittomancy spell probably ends with the Turn. And the current strip is continuing to hammer home that Slately’s double doesn’t realize he’s a double.
Although I suspect the appearance of Don King’s bat means we’ll shift to Transylvito next; the Don’s pretty savvy, so I’m sure he’ll figure out that Slately’s a goner. However, I don’t think that he knows about Charlie’s bounty, so no telling what he’ll do about it.
