If your assignment is to walk the halls, and you cheat on it by walking all the halls so you can locate the cameras . . . but you had to walk all the halls to do so . . . we need to figure out whether that’s actually cheating.
Can somebody get you crossword puzzles if you ask for them? Or even newspapers? – or a tablet and do them online?
Coloring books for grown ups!
My niece gave me one for Christmas. It features…wait for it…cat butts!
I use an app called “Happy Color…” I find coloring to be a very soothing activity (by that, I mean it keeps me from screaming) while I wait for a pain pill to kick in.

I’m having larcenic thoughts. My bathroom has a toilet paper dispenser. It holds 4 rolls at a time.
I’ve counted 16 rooms unoccupied. 16 X 4=64. $1 each. A tidy little sum.
The dispenser doesn’t lock. I opened the one in my bathroom. 3 rolls rolled out onto the wet floor. Dang it. All my TP is wet and swollen. I gotta figure how to rectify this situation. A nice little sign. ‘No TP’, I’ll hide the wet rolls in my bag.
And I just wanted to make a little cash selling hot TP. My plans never work out. (:()
I was making my way back to my room. A fellow inmate was walking the blue line as well. I moved over the side to let him pass as he had an IV pole. In rehab etiquette the IV pole has preference in high traffic.
The guy nodded as he passed. His robe was bulging on both sides. He’s been swiping TP from empty rooms. Well…I never…

Yes, Acey we are on a lockdown protcol. The lil’wrekker had a time getting in. They checked her temp, made her wash her hands and forearms and put surgical booties over her shoes. Not a good look.
She was instructed not to hug or kiss me.
DIL was gonna bring the grand-wreks to visit but that is disallowed.
I told my family not to go out of their way to visit. I’ll be fine.

What makes it an adult coloring book? It’s not porn is it?

Alas, no. The pages have intricate patterns, lots of teeny, tiny spaces. A real challenge if you feel the need to strictly color inside the lines.
Adult coloring books are typically of a heavier paper than the kid stuff, and work best with colored pencils.
It doesn’t take an art major, and it can be very soothing to shut out the rest of the world to concentrate on the pretty picture you’re making.

I’ve read that puzzles, coloring books, even playing a harmonica or other simple instrument helps with pain management.
Some treatment centers offer patients specially designed computer games that relaxes them during painful or stressful treatments.
The human mind is quite amazing. Concentrating on a repetitve task is certainly worth trying. It’s better than just lying there thinking about the pain.
My wife got into adult coloring books a year or two ago (and she now also has a couple of the apps on her phone). I did, however, buy her the Jason Momoa adult coloring book a few weeks ago, for humor value. 
My daughter was way ahead of the curve. She was de-stressing with kids’ coloring books in high school and college, long before the trend started. She’s since switched to cross-stitching. 
Pornographic coloring books would be a big hit. Someone get right on that.
I am not surprised in the slightest to learn that they already exist.

My ‘adult’ coloring book is circular Mandela designs. I’ve found it kinda pisses me off to do it. It’s not the book it’s the crappy pencils she bought for me to use. I have really nice markers, pens, pastels and pencils at home. Alas.
I procured a newspaper today. My Brother and his GF came from Oklahoma to visit. He had a paper with him. He left it with me. Two crosswords. Yay!
There’s a really nice outdoor area I noticed while walking. It will require going down the elevator and walking down a long corridor. I asked the Nurse if I could go there. She said “no, not allowed”
I will be going there. Somehow.
I gotta tell you guys the news is scaring me. I hate, hate, hate being locked away in this place during the crisis. I wanna go home. I can self isolate. That’s easy.
I’m feeling very good. The incision is pulling and itchy. I still have a loose bandage just to keep my clothing from catching on it. My pee-pee is normal. No fevers. My glucose is, for the most part being good.
