Story here. One dead, two injured.
See? You don’t have to come all the way over here to Thailand to get eaten by a tiger.

Did he leave a good tip?
How the hell did you find out about something from half way around the globe before me, who works in the field under discussion and lives not 80 miles from the incident??
Witchcraft, says I.
This is just a sad story all around. How does a tiger just walk out of its enclosure and enter an area with zoo visitors? The patrons at the cafe certainly weren’t expecting tigers in the cafe. The tiger was doing what tigers will do. It was the responsibility of the zoo to make sure that the tigers don’t go anywhere near the patrons. Now a person is dead, the tiger is dead and two other people are seriously injured and could die. This will likely be the end of that zoo because of the impending lawsuits so many other animals are also now at risk.
I subscribe to TigerNet.
I’m listening to BBC Television, and they’re saying now that the tiger is Tanya, the same Siberian tiger that attacked a trainer one year ago. They’re also saying now that they believe no door was left open, but rather the tiger actually jumped a moat and then got over the fence somehow.
According to a Reuters story updated within the hour, 4 tigers escaped.
They’re saying on BBC that officials were afraid other tigers had escaped but that they now know that’s not the case.
That’s interesting – if they were afraid the others had escaped, shouldn’t they have… looked?
I think they did. That’s how they know.
It just took them awhile to shove someone out to go look.
If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times…the wrong pussy can kill you!
Words to live by in Thailand!
If someone warns you, “That pussy has teeth”, BELIEVE IT!
What do you want for Christmas?
Oh, I don’t know. As long as I’m not eaten by a tiger.
D’OH!
What do you want for Christmas?
Manburger Helper!
Y’all are sick, sick bastards.
And so’m I for grinning at that manburger helper crack.
Eulogy: The tiger was a great humanitarian.
Yes, the tiger took all peoples as they came. There was no discrimination in its heart for any strain of humanity. All people were equal in its eyes. And mouth.
Oops. When I saw the thread title I thought to myself, “Dopers are so welcoming! I hope Escaped Tiger enjoys his visit”
If our sleeping son wakes up because I can’t stop laughing at this, YOU are flying your sorry ass down here and rocking him back to sleep.
