ESPN is reporting no charges for FSU's Jameis Winston.

This goes beyond the line of what is okay to say outside of the Pit, so don’t make a post like this again unless you’re in there.

Right, I should know better than that. Sorry again.

I agree completely with all of this. But I will say that her history of telling the truth DOES weigh on her credibility as a witness. However the outcome, my preference would have been for this to have been properly investigated immediately and charges brought or not brought at the time.

Honestly, I hope Jameis declares for the draft. Time for this to be over. For him, for her, and for FSU.

Winston has announced he will decide if he’s entering the draft after the national title game on Monday. It looks likely that he will enter the draft as this is a weak draft and he’s not going to go much higher by waiting a year.

He will probably have to make some arrangement to pay Erica Kinsman to go away. All the stories from the past will be rehashed but he doesn’t need Kinsman’s attorneys out there continuing to fan the flames of these false rape allegations while he’s preparing for the draft.

Who would draft him?

Every NFL team would draft him. QB’s with potential NFL talent always get drafted. It’s about winning in the NFL.

You are kidding yourself. If, and that is a big if, he is considered to be a NFL style quarterback they will still have to consider if he is a headache that will drain the team. A quarterback has to be a leader. If he is a cancer it doesn’t matter how talented he is. Many will pass. At least in the early goings of the draft. Which means millions to Winston. Sure it’s a balancing act between how he does in the combine and how big a headache he is feared to be. No doubt he would be drafted at some point. But how high is a big question and means a big difference in salary. Playing in college another year, playing well and keeping his nose clean may raise his prospects. And starting salary and signing bonus.

Every mock draft I have seen has him going as the second pick to Tennessee. If they pass, the Raiders draft fourth, and I’m sure he would be a big hit with their fan base. Personally, I am desperately hoping that Tennessee chooses to address their QB situation by working out a trade for hometown hero Jay Cutler.

That may be true. He certainly does have the physical attributes and appears to fit a NFL style. And there certainly are a lot of teams that are weak at QB. But I have also read that from some scouts that his character deficits are worse than even reported. With the NFL backlash from the Ray Rice issue and the tightening of the personal conduct policy, character is a bigger concern than ever.

So on the exact day that Winston declares for the draft , Erica Kinsman filed a lawsuit against FSU. Yes, it is all about the money. Yes, Erica Kinsman is a gold digger.

Hoping the Bears send Cutler to the Titans, pay a portion of his salary, in exchange for swapping picks in the draft. Then the Bears take Winston. Please please please.

Perhaps you can explain, for those of us who lack your clear legal expertise, how Jameis Winston’s draft declaration might affect a lawsuit against Florida State University. What is the specific connection between the two issues? Show your work, where appropriate.

FSU isn’t going to the NFL. If she is telling the truth then it is not all about the money. It is her only recourse at this point. If it goes to trial we will see how compelling her testimony is.

Erica is suing FSU since it’s an easier case and she won’t need to be on the witness stand explaining her pattern of lies. She knows FSU wants the story gone and will probably pay her to go away.

I do hope Winston gets drafted by Tampa Bay. Erica Kinsman lives in that area. It would be a $hame if she lived in the same area as her rapi$t.

What a horrible comment.

Even if this is true, what relevance does Winston’s declaring for the draft have to the issue? In deciding the validity of her claim against FSU, Winston’s NFL status will be completely irrelevant. Please provide some evidence for your insinuation that there’s a connection between this suit and Winston’s NFL draft declaration.

This is disgusting. I wish i could say i was surprised that you said it.

Obviously, I can’t prove that Erica’s lawsuit was timed to coincide with the draft announcement. However, I don’t believe in coincidences. She wants to keep Winston’s name in the mud. She’s probably hoping that Winston himself will offer to pay her to go away. Title IX is utter bullshit and there’s a chance Erica might win.

Thankfully, the tide has turned against her on social media. I’ve seen her picture posted on Facebook with the prescient, “Look out FSU, here comes Erica.” caption. The pictures of her and Winston together were also posted. It’s clear this is a money grab by Erica and just about everyone knows it.

So, talking out your ass. Thanks for confirming.

It’s time to drop this in this thread. You’ve made it very clear how much vitriol you have for her; continuing on with the names you’ve been calling her and the sort of statements you’ve been making is starting to come dangerously close to trolling.

Ease back your outrage. Not by a little either. There’s a way to debate or defend things without coming across the way that you’ve been coming.

Please tell me you are a Packers fan.
