You should probably wear bowl of fruit on your head to make them feel comfortable.
Bring “some wine that you like” doesn’t imply at all that you’ll be drinking your own, btw. First off, it’d be odd to bring wine that you don’t like. But really, it’s just a way to introduce people to a wine that you’d recommend.
Vino should cover it.
That’s what I bring when invited for dinner.
They did open our wine, FWIW. There were several other people there and most of the wine got opened.
