When I was child I had a fever, my hands felt just like two balloons.

Thankfully the NHS took care of me and it soon cleared up. At no direct cost to my parents I might add. And that matters because we were a single parent family. My dad wasn’t around and my mother…well let’s just say she had “issues” shall we?

Thankfully none of this has affected me in later life

Nah, it’s because of the funny-colour people cheating on healthcare dammit! Getting treatment for things they don’t have!

If Europe doesn’t see the error of its ways with UHC, it will end up with a healthcare system as bad as america’s: where healthcare spending per head of the population is more than double any other country, and yet millions are uninsured.

Here is something you can discuss, as a difference between the USA and Europe. The successful integration of immigrants into the workforce. In Denmark for instance, only 24% of Somali men (18-65) have a job, and a measly 10% of Somali women. 2009 numbers, at that time the overall unemployment rate was around 1.4% (it’s now around 3.6% or something. But I’m pretty sure it has risen more for the Somalis than for the rest of the population) 76%/90% unemployment rate. I’m sure the USA does better than that. The high taxes drive up minimum salaries to a point above where it makes economic sense for companies to hire people with very few skills.
