Europe has become far too liberal, and now it's destroying the entire continent

Wait, so Creeping Sharia really is a threat?

Thank the gods we did fight in the 'Nam or the Gill-Over-the-Ground prolly would’ve destroyed us by now!

CMC fnord!
Yeaaa, botany jokes!

Please, no flowery rhetoric.

If Europe gets destroyed, do we have to pay back our bail-out loans?

Need answer fast.

Very few because most are now Moozlems and oppress striped shirt wearing using their Amazing Sharia Powers.

Bizarre, given I payed for my breakfast this morning with a shiny two euro coin. When will inform the Italians, so they can switch back to the Lira quickly?

There is no country in Europe that has banned guns for those who hunt or need them as part of their job, not even the strictest of the strict, the UK, has completely banned guns.

Yes, which keeps us healthy, investing in preventative medicine as opposed to the uninsured waiting until they’re near death before attending a doctor’s office, and removes a heavy economic burden from our corporations.

Yeah, it’s not like London’s the financial capital of the entire world, or anything.

Switzerland, Ireland and Denmark are all listed as being more “economically free” than the United States on the Index of Economic Freedom. Most EU countries have lower corporate taxation levels than the United States. Germany exports more than the United States despite having a fraction of the population, France, Italy and the UK are also in the world’s top ten exporting countries. The EU as a whole exports more than the United States by a factor of around 14.

Who? The likes of Portugal, Ireland and Greece are “safe” as long as Germany finds it beneficial to have these economies drag down the euro to favour their exports.

The Italians have never had a functioning government. It’s part of their national identity, if you can imagine that they have one.

Sharia Arbitration. We in the UK believe that those engaging in private contracts should have the freedom to decide under what arbitration rules they will settle disputes. Why don’t you? Are you only for freedom of expression when you like the outcome?

Good. A school’s a place of learning, not a fashion parade.

Oxford, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Durham, King’s College, University College, St. Andrew’s, University College Dublin, Ecole Polytechnique, Paris-Diderot, Chalmers, Goteborg, ITK Copenhagen, and many more. All world class institutions.

Than who? Somalia? We get more services from the government, so we pay more.

There’s a reason why Wikileaks host their servers in the EU and not in the US.

Interbreeding. Far too many of them now have the “Innsmouth look”. We’ll all see what that leads to when the stars are right.

Scratching the surface of what, exactly? Boo Hoo - Europe isn’t the USA. So what?

fish meet barrel

You heard it here first folks. School uniforms - the most evil act of repression of the 20th century. Assuming for a moment the OP is serious, if the intention of school uniforms is to create a race of drones, the failure is absolute, judging by the behaviour of most school children.

A question for the OP - have you ever actually visited Europe?

Even groovy hipster liberals get their knickers in a twist on the uniform issue.

The hep cats at Boing Boing had a proper paddy when an English school tried to enforce strict uniform and decent standards of behavour:

You’d have thought the head teacher was dressing the kids in Hitler Jugend gear from some of the reactions.

Stand still laddie!

The funny thing is that Belgium, despite being two cultures mashed together who speak different languages and don’t get along very well, and despite being on the verge of breaking in two for years now, still manages to function better as a country than the US sometimes.

See the alt (mouseover) text for this xkcd comic.

There 's a black guy right beside me now. He’s Irish, European and a muslim. He’s also hung over and eating a bacon sandwich and curing like a frenchman. Should I take him out now as he’s endangering my cultures future or wait till he’s with some more of his kind?

If only we were allowed guns

Depends. Is he wearing a school uniform?

A very swish suit in fact which is the school uniform of business.

You’d have killed yourself? Over a school uniform? May I humbly suggest that an internet messageboard is probably not the likely solution to your issues.

And what’s Europe ever done to you?

I assume this is a rhetorical question. The OP is pretty obviously a grotesque caricature, not a photograph.

Well, for starters, last week Cthulhu ate a million Chinese, and an hour later he was hungry again…

Samus Aran is a talented courageous, intelligent, and informed bounty hunter.

I have played as Samus Aran, you are no Samus Aran.

This is a great addition to a thread of this quality.

I mean, why is state-subsidized retirement in Sweden less generous now than in 1985? Is it because of the ageing demographics of that country, like most of the industrialized world?
Nah, it’s because of the funny-colour people cheating on healthcare dammit! Getting treatment for things they don’t have!

If Europe doesn’t see the error of its ways with UHC, it will end up with a healthcare system as bad as america’s: where healthcare spending per head of the population is more than double any other country, and yet millions are uninsured.
