I have decided that from now, henceforth, and forever, the first answer to any “What is that song…” or “What is that music…” question should always be :
Powerhouse by Raymond Scott.
Thank you.

Reminds me of my BIL’s stock answer in Trivia Pursuit when asked to identify an actor:
Tony Dow.
I find your views intriguing and wish to subscribe to your newsletter.
Plus, you’re right.
I thought it was “Rio” by Duran Duran.
It was, but only for 20 minutes.
Ridiculous. The correct answer is Ray Walston.
Heh. I need a version of this at work: if a customer comes up to me and says, “I’m looking for a movie” and nothing else, I say…
My SO always says the word I’m looking for in the crossword puzzle is “Chicago” so maybe that could be the movie they’re looking for too?
(Yesterday the crossword answer WAS Chicago. Huh.)
Since we all know the correct answer to life, the universe and everything is 42, the correct answer to any question of whatever nature must be a factor of 42. Therefore, if you just take 42 and factor it by enough seriously weird numbers (irrational, imaginary, whateverary) the correct answer should show up in 133759331<
The meaning of life is Loony Tunes? Well, that certainly explains a lot.
That’s the number the Enigma Variations is based around?
Pity.
My stock Trivial Pursuit answer to anything dealing with hockey is “Wayne Gretzky.”
What’s wrong with ‘Powerhouse’? It’s my theme song.
I thought that was “Powerhouse #2”. “Powerhouse” was the techno verson.
My stock answer to any trivial pursuit question I don’t know is “My penis.”
It’s great for the geography category.
We used to joke that the best wild guess for movies was Marlon Brando. In pop music, it was The Beatles. An astoundly easy question was “a Peter Pan question.” I always had to spot people a wedge before they’d let me play. Their most frequent comment was, “How the Hell did you know that?”
I have two stock answers I use all the time:
Where-------?
Cleveland.
How-----------?
Osmosis.
Heh. I played Star Wars Trivial Pursuit with some friends and managed to win by answering every question I didn’t know with “the Trade Federation”.
My very geeky buddies were not amused.
For Pictionary, I always shout out “Elvis!” when my brother starts drawing, no matter the category. I only do this for my brother, because it annoys the hell out of him. But the one time it was Elvis, was hysterical and totally worth it.
More than once, I’ve had thoughts that Powerhouse should be stickied in Cafe Society, along with a link to a snip of it.
Corallary: What is that scream…?
Wilhelm.
