Even though I ____, I have never ____

Hey, I’m a white guy, and I found it easy to comprehend. You should try it, you might like it!

Wait! Differential or integral? Didn’t care much for integral, still got an A, but, just sayin’.

Even though I’m heterosexual, I have never had sex.

Certainly explains your username.

Even though I walked right into that, I have never bothered to come up with a better username.

Even though I lived in Japan for 23+ years over a 30-year period, I never climbed Mr. Fuji.

For which I’m sure he is eternally grateful.

No brandy old fashion. <Hangs head in shame.>
I actually cooked thousands of brats for the hockey games, for the sailing club, and at the grill at the old union South. Never ate a one.

I did at least try some cheese curds.

Local version. Even though I have lived in Phoenix for 46 years, I have never climbed Piestawa Peak (Squaw Peak).

This is a crime of omission to locals.

The amount of time I’ve spent at a beach because I wanted to could be measured in hours. Plus I hate Jimmy Buffett. I do go to Disney, however.

I’m not extremely surprised by either of these by themselves, but being an Alaskan Navy vet who’s never been on a ship of any kind is sort of boggling.

Ha! Your entry and mine were the same thing! I should have read more thoroughly before I posted.

What years were you at OSU? Maybe we crossed paths on High St. or Lane Ave. and never knew.

The comment about igloos and such was me being sarcastic/ironic. People used to assume all manner of things about you if you were from Alaska.

The closest thing to a ship I’ve been on is the Alaska ferry system with my RV. I’ve never even taken a cruise. In the Navy, I was a Seabee (naval construction force). They rarely serve on board ship, although prior to building the airfield in Diego Garcia, they were transported there by sea.

Even though I grew up in Epsom, Surrey, UK, I’ve never been to a horse race (The Greatest Flat Race in the World).

That’s the kind of thing I was originally looking for, but all of these comments have been interesting. Have our OSU alumni found out if they know each other in real life yet?

Even though I consider myself a Native Vermonter, I do not like Maple Syrup.

Even though I am female and a Texan, I have no interest in horses.

Wait, what? How does one manage that? I could understand maybe a few years enlistment (I assume that’s a thing, please excuse my ignorance), but an entire career? How common is that for the USN?

Oops, disregard my post above, I see this has been addressed.

Even though I’ll go to a bar in a hipster fedora, pegged jeans, and semi-ironic Vans, I still think IPAs are disgustingly foul.

Even though I’m a woman, I hate weddings and wedding (or baby) showers. I also have no children, by choice.

Even though I sit at a bar 9 times out of 10 when we go out, I do not currently drink.
