Even when Beck's bad, bad, bad she's good.(New critter in the house!)

Bayliss is worth his weight in gold. Running & playing with the kids tires then out. It makes nap time easier for the adults.

Yep.
Win-win

See, this is one of many reasons that I love dogs so much – such attachment and loyalty!

When I was a little kid, my parents got me a puppy while we were at our country cottage. I always loved summer at the cottage, but that made it super special.

He was a bright doggie, like Bayliss. One thing I remember from my childhood is playing hide-and-seek with him (not then, but later in the city, when he grew up). Literally. I didn’t fully realize at the time how remarkable it was. I would tell him to sit and wait while I went and hid somewhere. He would dutifully wait, and then prowl around and find me – usually very quickly – and bark up a storm right where I was, to show that he’d won!

I’m gonna work on a hide and seek type game with him.
He’s certainly clever enough.
