Even when Beck's bad, bad, bad she's good.(New critter in the house!)

As Paul Gallico wisely noted in one of his novels about cats, “When in doubt, wash.”

Bayliss is very cute! Also, it was quite thoughtful of him to puke up frogs, so that you could report this in the thread and make people in many different locations start laughing.

So happy to be of service.
I live to please.

Is Bayliss house-broken? Is Beck that lucky?

I doubt the frog made him puke. I’d question the chile-spaghetti casserole!

1970s Indian Earth makeup was a perfect match to the Georgia red clay at our Atlanta plant.

Yes, Bayliss is housebroken.
No accidents.

Yes @VOW, that particular casserole was gross.

Oh, really?

For reals.

Bayliss likes, no…loves riding. Everything that starts up and zoom…off he goes to try and catch a ride.
I kinda had to chase him down when Big Wrek started the tractor.
He also decided to remove Teddy bears arms. BabyWrek was not amused.
We did surgery. Teddy will live. He’ll have some pains when it rains, tho’
I had to do a bit of slight of hand magic because BabyWrek thought Teddy needed a pill for pain.
Good thing she’s gullible.

Another great Beck story, and a very good boy. He has the same big neck that Celt-dog had when we first got him. It was a serious problem, because any collar that fit around his neck would also slide right off of his head. It took a while, but now he loves his collar; he gets all happy and excited when I pick it up to put it back on after bath time. And he’s fattened up a bit so it stays on better.

I’m curious to know why DIL brought him back?

She said he was unhappy and whining.
I say he was ‘homesick’
He’s never once paced around whining here.

He’s a happy critter

I was going upstairs. I have grown accustomed to Bayliss right on my heels.
He was no where. I looked in his usual spots. I walked outside and hollered.
No Bayliss.
I walked in the living room where ‘Bobs Burgers’ was blaring.
There’s Bayliss in the middle of the floor laying on his side.
Four Grandwrex’ heads using him as pillow.
So cute.

Pics or it didn’t happen…

@Beckdawrek

I re-read the entire thread.

I’m shaking my head that the original “owner” PAID to have Bayliss neutered, plus had all these essentially cosmetic surgeries done (tail docking, ear clipping, dewclaw removal), yet didn’t cough up the $35 (or whatever it is now) to have the dawg microchipped!

Get Bayliss chipped ASAP.

Get all of his shots done–including any for feral pig diseases.

Then he will be absolutely, no questions whatsoever, YOUR dog!

I feel the same way about the ‘elective’ surgeries.

The Vet started shots last Monday. He goes back next Monday.
Chipping is not really popular around here.
Mr Wrekkers Beagles are all chipped because when they hunt they’re let loose. There have been near murders over whose dog is whose in the deer woods.
I convinced him to have them chipped.

Bayliss will be chipped.

The kids all stayed at Son and DILs house last night.

Bayliss was looking for those kids, allover the house. It’s the first time I’ve seen him unhappy. He got lots of skritches and treats and I told
him to lay down many times. He finally settled.
Boy, he was happy to see them this morning.

What a good dog.

The Grandwrex and Bayliss had a game of tag this afternoon.
I swear that dog knows how to play. He would chase and be chased.
I was worried he would nip heels chasing but he didn’t. He would ever so lightly nudge a kid and take off running. Smiling the whole time.
He loved it!
They had popsicles afterwards. Bayliss had a green one.

Nothing better than a babysitting dog. And why are they almost always named Bay-something?

Somewhere, on an old nonworking laptop most likely, I have a pic of 1yr old Vaderling sitting between the front paws of Bailey The BIG Black Lab.
