Ever been featured on home/garden tour?

If so, what was it like?

My wife belongs to the local garden club. Each year they have a large public garden walk. They also have a smaller tour of members’ gardens, open only to club members. This year, we are going to be on this smaller, club members-only tour. There will be a lot less traffic than on the bigger tour, but the participants will likely be more knowledgeable and opinionated…

Just wondering if any of you have had experience prepping for and hosting anything of the sort.

It will be a week from tomorrow. Here in the Chicago area, the spring has been so wet, that we have been VERY limited in our ability to do much in the gardens so far. Had some mulch laid down earlier - much of which washed away in the torrential downpours! My efforts have been in keeping the damned grass in control. Have been mowing twice a week, with the wet clippings clogging up the damned mower…

Also, some of our plants took a hit over the very cold winter. This past weekend was dry and lovely, so we divided and moved a bunch of plants, and also adjusted a couple of stone paths, as the tree/bushes they are near had grown considerably. This kinda stuff used to be A LOT easier a decade or 2 ago! :o
