A while back I discovered the science fiction novel The Left Hand of Darkness. My first thought, of course, was** Left Hand of Dorkness**!
And yeah, no one understood why I started laughing.
While reading a restaurant menu in Budapest, I suddenly thought of pulykamell.
My husband just got me to watch “The Old Dark House”, and in the beginning credits I saw “Roderick Femm”!
A poster who doesn’t come around any more: Filthy Beast of Meat and Hair. I thought it was just a humorous thing s/he had come up with randomly, and then one day I saw the “Tak” episode of Invader Zim. At one point Zim says to Tak, “Prepare your brain, filthy beast of meat and hair!” Ahhh, THAT’S where they got it from…
I accidentally discovered what my OWN name meant right here on the board. I picked it up from a random source. I didn’t know it was connected with Pogo Possum until someone here said, “Oh, a fellow Pogo fan!” I apologetically explained the situation.
Nope.
I knew you were going to say that!
