How big of a hoax is this? Where does it come from? Is it even remotely true?

Rhey might might dream of that, but how is that uncommon? There are billions of people. And thats a pretty damn generic face.
He looks a little like Joel Grey as the MC in Cabaret.
I don’t think he’s ever popped up in my dreams, though.
Oh, and for the record I’ve never dreamed him, that I can remember.
Is his name Richard Faraday? Ronald Fort? Ray Fontanue?
Ever dream of an old black lady in a rocking chair in the same night?
From what I understand about dreaming, anyone who has viewed that picture is now a little more likely to dream about him, simply because they have seen the picture and have thought about this story. It’s the power of suggestion, and a self-fulfilling prophecy, and positive reinforcement, and all that.
Koxinga, somehow I always manged the walking man as…you know, sex on legs. He’d at least have the decency to pluck if he had the Frida Kahlo thing going on.
I’m once again aware that for some strange reason, I almost never dream faces. My dreams are rarely very visual to start with… they all seem to evolve emotions, actions, and situations, but rarely synced with any of the approprate visuals. I wonder why that is? The few times I ever had distinct images appear in dreams have always been momentous occasions for me… “Wow, I dreamt I saw a bedpost! It was so real, I could actually see some of the grain in the wood!” Heh.
It may be a hoax [and probably is] but I can say that I rarely dream about random strangers. Almost all of my dreams [that I remember] tend to be peopled by people I know or have met several times - which is why I hold with the theory that dreams are the way the brain sorts through my experiences.
Pointless Comment: Dude needs to get his eyebrows waxed.
A few months ago they were talking about him on the radio and, after looking at it online, lots of people were calling in insisting they had dreamt of him for years. Certainly it’s still a hoax, and I guess it’s not remarkable that with a big audience there were plenty of people who either claimed to have dreamt of him or really believed they had.
I was really hoping for it to be more of a trick. Something more abstract where you could easily fool yourself into interpreting the image as something you’d dreamt of. But nope, when I finally saw it I’d never dreamt of anybody like that.
My first thought was a half joking “well, *now *I’m going to” , and I think you’re absolutely correct.
He looks a little like Jay Robinson, famous for playing various Roman emperors and Dr. Shrinker.
No, but I’m pretty sure I’ve worked with him before. . .
Why are you hedging? I mean really, someone makes an absurd claim on the internet. The starting point is that it’s bullshit.
But I did hear from my friend’s cousin, who is the daughter of an ER nurse in Texas, that Laura Bush was born with a tail.
Not just a hoax, but also an attempt at viral marketing of something. From the link:
How hard can it be to market gorillas? How cool would that be? “Hey, want to meet my monkey”?
Glad to see my tin foil nightcap is working!
