We just got a digital camera, and I was wanting to create a personal porn collection. I’m assuming others have done something similar and I was just looking for thoughts on the experience. I was planning on just taking pictures of my wife, not having someone else do it.
On a related note, has anyone successfully video taped bedroom events without a third party assisting?

Taken pictures of the both of us doing various things…badly done with creative use of mirrors and suchlike. Never tried the whole videotape thing but i shouldn’t think it would be too much of a problem, might have to settle for a fixed perspective though
I went the classic route with my ex…Polaroids! Snapped a few back in our young and carefree days. I still have them floating around somewhere. I keep meaning to scan them and submit them to those “get revenge on your ex” sites but somehow never get around to it. He may have a few of me too, I know he snapped at least one. But since I no longer resemble the person in the photo I’m not too worried.
As for videos, I’ve never done so but the same ex, knowing I have a bit of a thing for watching men shave, did a tape of himself shaving and then doing…other things. Unfortunately he cut himself rather badly (shaving, not doing the other things) and so the hotness factor was substantially reduced by the blood gushing down his cheek. Plus he wasn’t much for the framing of shots and so the…other things tended to happen mostly out of camera range.
Once had an SO take pictures of herself for me.
Oh, and my ex-fiancee has pictures of herserf on the net. But I’m not posting the link here.

Yes, have done both the video and the stills. Most of my ex`s are available to me for my veiwing pleasure. Only have video of the current SO though. The use of a tri-pod comes in very handy.
Along with a remote-control zoom for the cam-corder.
I’m gonna regret saying this, but I have had pictures taken of me by an ex. I am not thrilled about it now, though nothing bad has come of it and I doubt that anything will. So (though I see that it is your wife, and not girlfriend) tread carefully.
For a 10th anniversary gift, I let my husband take nude photos of me using my best film camera. He developed them at the local ritz camera shop. I scanned them in and even photoshopped them to his liking. The best one, he keeps in wallet size in his wallet. I also use it as a LJ icon. There are others that are more explicit, and i am sure he enjoys those occasionally as well.
I have a couple of nude shots of him, but I never printed them and they were taken with a digital camera so they are not as good quality. He flatly refuses to pose and let me get better shots.
For our first Christmas, I got my best friend to take some “happy snaps” of me nude to give to my then boyfriend. I put them in a little book with comments I wrote… he loved it. Of course, I certainly felt uncomfortable when we broke up, and would have preferred he give them back.
Well I’m a photographer so of course I have. But since I’m a photographer when I did it, it was Art :).
Ever take nude pictures of yourself and e-mail them to someone who was 300 miles too far away to do anything else? (Yeah, well, when I did, that was Art, too 
:).)
I’ve taken nude pictures of myself for him, he’s taken nude pictures of himself for me, we’ve taken pictures of each other… but he’s a professional photographer so maybe we can claim “Art” on those too.
And yes, betenoir, the email thing is the whole point of us taking the pictures - but add 1,400 to your mileage.
I recall, some years ago, seeing a small crowd around the front window of a Ritz Camera shop. Their one-hour film processing was done behind a big glass wall, so passersby could stand and watch. Sure enough, someone had taken a series of very explicit closeups of her naked SO, and there they were, spooling out of the printing machine, for all the world to see.
So, lee, if you notice a stranger leering at you on the street, you’ll know what probably happened!

My bf and I have taken pictures of each other and videos of us together. He also took video of me shaving down there and peeing. I used to email him a string of pictures almost every day, so he’s got a HUGE library.
One time, we even had this photo session set-up. We arranged my studio apartment into a photo studio. It was SOOOO sexy! I love when he takes pics of me just cause I make him get naked while he’s doing it so I can watch him grow.
Another time, he left the video camera rolling while he took still shots of me. Eventually, I forgot the video was taping, so when I forced the other camera out of his hand and had my way with him, it was all taped.
My husband got his wish once last summer. I was feeling…frisky, so I got out all of my favorite lingerie and posed on the bed, on the couch, etc. At first, I was very careful not to expose “myself” to the camera, but then I said to myself, “Aw - what the hell!!” (Very nice complement to the burgundy teddy and stockings.) He got to take 75-80 pics on the digital camera (ran the batteries out!!), then we put them on the computer and saw what they looked like. Then we had really, really hot sex!!!
Now we have a new, better digital camera. Maybe we’ll have to compare resolution… 
Yeah, that’s the complaint my bf always makes - that the resolution isn’t very good. He’s actually thinking about spending a whole lot of money (which neither of us has) just to get a better camera for sex pictures!

I’ve taken tons of photos of my ex, who didn’t seem to mind, and also even had a full out photo shoot for me.
My fiancee says “no way, no how, not in this lifetime.” But I can live with that, since I’ll get to see her nude on a daily basis when we’re married.
