I stumbled across a reference to Sal Ammoniac a while back. There was delayed surprise and momentary confusion.
I’m always surprised how history seems to have forgotten 70’s adult film sensation Joey “the Love Slav” Pravnik.
Not quite the same, but I always read TubaDiva as “Tuba Diver” with a Boston accent on the Diver ( drop the final “r”, substitute and “ah” sound). I could not quite figure out why some one would want to dive in a tuba, but what the hey.
Finally, I realized that it was Diva-
She was a tuba diva.
Sheesh.

Although HPL hasn’t posted for a month, I believe the screen name (monogram?) is a tribute to Howard Phillips Lovecraft. There was also a member named Cthuhlu at one time, and Hastur (already mentioned in this thread) was a character used by Lovecraft after being created by Ambrose Bierce.
