I highly dislike cabbage, not much of a fan of iceberg lettuce either. Both taste bitter to me. I do like dark green leafy stuff like romaine and spinach though.
I love frozen pizza. Even Jack’s, which is super-cheap and probably lousy by a normal person’s standards. (I love good homemade pizza too, but it’s by no means any better to me.)
Another vote for haggis. I just don’t get the hate. We serve it at our Rabbie Burns suppers every year, and hear a lot of “oh, gross!” comments. We utilize peer pressure to get everyone to taste it, and almost everyone says, “hey, that’s not bad!” We almost never have leftover haggis.
Also, pipe smoke. Yeah, yeah, I get it. Smoking is bad. But I just love the smell of a good pipe tobacco.
Anchovies. I like 'em on my pizza, and I require them on my Caesar salads.
And (looking furtively around) McDonald’s Quarter Pounders. When I want a quick, satisfying meal, that’s where I go.
The only premade pizza my husband and I will eat is Jack’s pepperoni thin crust. I blame this on having grown up eating Totino’s frozen pizzas, which were like big round pieces of stale Wonder bread that had been sat upon, covered with Hunt’s tomato paste and sprinklings of some kind of “herb,” and liberally coated with a cheese-esque polymer. After that, Jack’s pizza is a gourmet delight.
I loved all three of the Matrix movies, not just the first one, unlike almost everyone else.
In what lofty parallel universe do you live in, in that everyone hates Golden Girls and its notoriously bad? I’ve never heard of such a thing.
I’m normally an extremely healthy eater, but…
McDonald’s hamburgers! Five at a time, with a large side of fries and a giant Coke. No cheese or pickles, please! Just five disreputable pucks of meat covered with onions, ketchup, and enclosed by damp, anemic buns.
I then spend the next 2-3 hours feeling oddly smug and vaguely ill.
Black jellybeans are my favorite. I love the fact that most people hate them and leave them behind!
A few things like spam and WWW movie I can agree to liking but heres a few of my own
-Anime music videos and fanfiction
-freddy vs jason. Honestly I though it was awesome.
-perfect dark for the n64, i thought it was better then goldeneye and still do.
-The dune series video games were a good rts also.
-Fluff so good when making smores.
I like the feeling of wearing a tie.
That was a good movie! Surprised it never got any sequel interest.
I am impressed by pants sagging and don’t find it offensive at all. Sometimes I think some of the kids look silly but most of all I think “what a way to go for fashion” and “how do they keep them up??”
at the last minute before bed I forgot to post my love for “Babylon 5” an awesome series that never has let me down even rewatching ti it.
The Carpenters. Don’t judge me!
Foods: Anchovies, Chipped Beef on Toast, White Castle, and Taco Bell are all secret shameful delights.
Ok I admit it. I love Spam! I love it so much, once I ordered a “variety pack” case off Spam.com. My mailman had murder in his eyes when he delivered it because a case of Spam weighs a ton. I can give you the inside dope on all the Spam flavors except Spam Lite and Spam Less Sodium (who the heck looks for a “healthy” variety of Spam anyway?!!). Turkey Spam is a lot like old-fashioned turkey loaf and I can eat an entire can in one sitting, no prep, no nuthin’ just a fork! Bacon Spam is a complete waste of time (two ham flavors, you can’t taste any bacon at all) and Spam with Cheese is only good cold because if you try to cook it, the cheese all melts out. My favorite flavor for breakfast is Hickory Smoked Spam which compliments fried eggs perfectly. Spam Hot & Spicy really is spicy as it’s got Tabasco sauce in it.
And yes, in a pinch, I’ll get a can of Valu-Time luncheon loaf for $1.39 when I can’t get Spam.
I also enjoy Deviled Ham and Deviled Chicken too, but those dinky cans are a bit pricey.
Thus completes my confession. I should be so ashamed…
Bri2k
Oh and I’m also an unrepentant cigarette smoker too…
The very first one I thought of. Kind of nice to see I’m not the only one! I liked that movie enough to watch it over and over and memorize all the songs.
Oh, please don’t tell me B5 counts as notoriously bad! It’s one of my favorites!
CarrotTop’s act makes me laugh.
Oh, yeah, and the end results are so…colorful.
Morbo The Carpenters are great, come to think of it though, I get a lot of flack for liking ABBA as well though.
I could accept each post I’ve read here. Until this one.
