Well, the Devil is Santa’s nemesis in the Mexican movie Santa Claus that I saw as a kid (and was spoofed by MST3K, though I never saw that).
I don’t know if it’s ever made clear who is shooting at Santa in the Movie-within-a-movie “The Night the Reindeer Died” in Scrooged (with Lee Majors obviously trying to be the Six Million Dollar Man without saying so), but anyone who fires a missile at Santa (“Incoming!”) is up to no good.
I must say I am also proud of the Sluggites response to this thread. Of course with the thread title I had assumed the thread was going to be about Bun-Bun.
Upon examination of the evidence and the condition of his roof, it has been determined that Scott Calvin was negligent in failing to provide a safe working environment for Mr. S. Claus, especially considering that Mr. Calvin had a young boy in his apartment at the time and should have made a good faith attempt to clear the snow from Mr. Claus’s work area, resulting in a work-related slip-and-fall incident which was the root cause of Mr. Claus’s death.
Santa figured into the plot of the SNES role-playing game Secret of Mana. I don’t remember the exact circumstance, but I think he was bewitched and turned into a monster that you had to fight, before being restored to his normal self.
