Ex-pat Canadians in Florida associations?

I just thought of this a month too late, but a couple of years ago, I remember seeing on the TV news, some Canadians who live in Florida getting together to celebrate Thanksgiving in October. At the time, I looked in directories for the major cities and couldn’t find anything like an association with a phone number. Of course, they’re probably called something other than what I was looking for. I wrote to the TV station, to see if they could put me in touch with them, but never got a reply.

Does anybody know of such a group? Thanks.

Are you in the Tallahassee area? Around here we usually don’t get our first flock of snowbirds until after Thanksgiving (the Canadian one). They’re soon followed by the Ohioans, Indianans, Illini and Michiganders. Every now and again a Kentuckian will try to sneak in but we just point them back north.
