I have an Excel spreadsheet listing names of documents. Each entry is actually a hyperlink to that document. The links launch Excel or Adobe just fine. But, there is only one link to Word document. And, that one link will launch Word and close my Excel spreadsheet at the same time!
Why is this? It must be some setting somewhere because on a different PC, it works just fine! Oh, and I should add: I tried holding down the shift key before clicking on the link thinking this might be a solution, but no such luck.
Anyone else experience something similar to this? Any WAGs?
