Seeing how I’ve explored all the avenues I can think of, and STILL haven’t come up with an answer, I’m hoping my fellow Dopers can dig deep and find an answer for me. Years ago (about 13-15 or so), on PBS station there was a lady by the name, I believe, Cynthia Kerchuck, who did aerobics on an early morning show. She had long blonde hair, and would count down in different languages, and I believe she was a gymnist at some point (but now can’t find any evidence of this).
I did aerobics with this woman (well, she did them on television, and I did them in my livingroom) and lost tons of weight (okay, mabye about 20 lbs), and not only was she not overly chipper, but her routines were easy to follow. sometimes, she’d divide the screen into the “beginning” side, and the “advanced” side.
Is there anyone who knows what or whom I talking about?
This was the charming CYNTHIA KERELUK, a former Miss Canada whose exercise show Everyday Workout ran on the Lifetime Channel mornings for years (replaced by the much too perky Denise Austin). I have two screen captures of Cynthia here on my Video Wilderness page: http://community-2.webtv.net/CaptainHermes/VIDEOWILDERNESS/page22.html
She said she was of Ukrainian descent, if I recall correctly, explaining her name and her natural blondiness.
