I’m so glad … yesterday when I looked at this thread I felt like the only person who was not able to find those two extra horses.
Sort of like when you are looking at those 3D-Pictures and everybody keeps yelling at you: “There’s a spaceship in there! Easy!” while you don’t see a damn thing.
There’s a trick to looking at stereograms. I can’t manage it the way you’re supposed to - I can see them if I cross my eyes to make the image double, then let them overlap until the 3D image appears. Two problems with that:
1 - it reverses the image - the bits that are intended to stick out are recessed instead, which makes it harder to make out the intended image sometimes.
Oh, come on. There are at least 12 faces in The Forest Has Eyes. Here’s what I get for each quadrant of the picture (where the largest piece of each face falls):
I see 5, and a blob that is kind of a cross between a horse and a prehistoric woodchuck type thing.
The main horse in the picture. Above his neck is a brown rock. It kikd of looks like a horse’s head and neck, facing to the left and looking really pissed off.
And I saw the skull too. But I’m kind of not with it today, I took one look at the picture and thought “Well there’s only 2 horses there!” It took me like 20 seconds to find the other 3 obvious ones…
Obviously the hidden dogs photo was offensive as the links to it have been deleted, without posting a link again or saying anything too explicit, can someone give me a sanitised synopsis of what it was? Eg “unclothed” people?!
It was a picture of a normal room, with a table and chairs. After about 20 seconds a big alien type face appears, along with a very loud scream. It scares the crap out of you if you’re not expecting it, and if you have your volume turned up. You didn’t miss much.
does somebody have a definitive answer?
I agree with the post before that this is a painting of 5 horses but somehow got mixed up with a different title.
There are a lot of similar type paintings here. The one at the bottom of that page claims to have seven horses, maybe these two got confused?
BTW, clicking on the artist’s name on that page gives more of the artist’s work, and there are links on the left side of the page to even more artwork.
After an exhaustive search of the Stile Project site, (man, sifting through pornography is hard work) I still haven’t found the jack-in-the-box. I realize some of the more uptight folks may not want a link posted, but can someone give slightly more specific instructions?
