Ladeez and gentlemen, I give you Andre Thomas, a Death Row inmate at a Texas prison who is currently in the news for having plucked out his own eye and, well, eating it.

That would have been his only remaining eye, since he gouged the other one out just prior to his trial in 2004. Oh, and the trial was for the killing of his wife and two children, an event which featured him cutting out their hearts and stuffing the organs into one of his pockets for later disposal. Good thing he’s not insane, as deemed by the state, or he might have done something really strange.

As I believe Dave Barry is fond of saying, you can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Is this thread Recreational Outrage? Well, I’m not really sure who to be outraged at, but I’ve got a few options, I suppose. Maybe y’all can help guide me on this.
