Fabulous online physics-based game

I’ve had some designs fail due to this. Enough weight will cause them to pull right through the environment.

What a very fun game. Some of my designs:

Unpossible: Fantastic Contraption: A fun online physics puzzle game
Minimalist solution to Back and Forth: Fantastic Contraption: A fun online physics puzzle game

Can someone give me a detailed and colorful description of how those “rockets” worked? What exactly was supposed to happen?

The wheel would spin innocuously, until the oscillating geometry of the contraption allowed it to touch relatively solid ground or some other object. Sometimes it would just twitch in reaction, but in some undetermined circumstances it would react violently, shooting away from the point of contact like a rocket.

I saw it after I posted. Grumble.

Here is a very nice solution to 4 Balls by Entity.

I should add that I plunked down the tenner for access. Don’t do it - you will never ever get another thing done in your life. If solving wasn’t addictive enough, now I spend all my time trying to design the perfect level. Curse you, OP!

A drawbridge! That’s awesome!

Here’s a somewhat preposterous solution to Four Balls.

OK, two more and I’ll get back to my life. It’s not enough to complete the level now they’re animating the solutions. Some (like Drunken Donkey) are hilarious, others are down right amazing. I give you…

Mountain Goat

and

Kid with Big Feet

Great! Except, it’s kinda sad watching what ultimately happens to the Kid with Big Feet.

I’ve been having fun with the “green” and “anti-wheel league” challenges. Here are a couple:

I absolutely love these. I also find some humor in the fact that both perish to their deaths in amusing ways.

Anyhow, I humbly submit a candidate for fastest level completion: Quick “Mind the Gap” Solution.

I thought I’d improve on the design and tighten up what I thought was a bendy chassis, somehow all I did was allow small balls to get in underneath and tip the whole thing up, so it ran in the opposite direction, enjoy.

EDIT: Watching again it’s at least amusing, it rears up like some sort of sandworm before plunging to it’s doom.

I think my favorite of the ones I’ve done so far is Tow Truck, for Back and Forth.

And I tried to make a tunneling machine (among many other attempted methods) for Awash, but I just couldn’t make any of them make any progress. I think it’s because I was using two-wheel noses, instead of one wheel (I was afraid that having the wheel turning the “wrong” way would impede progress).

No, they are not; but if you don´t open your yap I´ll do the same, m’kay? I’m still looking for that snitch that droped the dime and ruined my rocket.

This thing is addictive. Here’s a solution for Awash that I call armadillo.

I’ve made a level called Ready Go, if anyone who has bought the game wants to give it a try.

Here’s a solution for Back and Forth.

That´s simply brilliant.

By the way, there’s apparently some unused/beta levels you still can get access to that people on their forum have been finding; I’ll just throw all I can gather in this post:

Most of those are pretty easy, but the one with the steep slope is giving me a headache…
