Facebook HELP!: Is there a way to send a message or post a comment to all friends at once?

I got “botted” or whatever you call it- I clicked on that “See how you’ll look in the future” link if you’re familiar with that one (I understand there are several but this is the first time I’ve ever fallen for one) and it sent itself to everybody on my friends list.

Is there anyway to send an email or post a comment on everybody at once saying “DON’T OPEN THAT THING- REMOVE IT”?

Thanks for any help.

From what I’ve seen, people post the “Don’t open it” message as their status, and it goes out on everyone’s news feeds unless you’ve been hidden. I have seen it quite often lately, and for that one link in particular!

Thanks. There are several Osama bin Laden ones out now as well. Perhaps it’s al Qaeda being friendlier and gentler but way more far reaching.

If you click on your friends link on the homepage and then edit friends you can make a list of all your friends. Write whatever message you want and in the to field type the name of your list. I don’t know that it saves you any more time than just selecting everyone for a message but that’s the best way I know of.

Did it send itself to all your friends via messaging, or did it just post something on your wall where all your friends could see it. If the latter, just deleting the post it added to your wall will render it non-visible to your friends.
