I’m using SocialFixer https://socialfixer.com/ and they are on top of fixing bugs. If you really need the old layout you need to also add the extension (or just run it… not sure as I use the regular SFx) https://oldlayout.com/ … which may or may not work on any given day.
Or you could start your own Private Group and that gives you an option to revert to the old layout.
Personally, I am on the latest layout and use SFx to hide the stuff that bugs me.
Does it hide all the ads? I don’t care which layout it is - I just hate all the ads on the new layout, can’t get away from them.
Yes! But I also use an adblocker. No more Sponsored ads with SFx!
Reinstalled Revert Site and aaaaahhh, that’s the one. Hope it sticks–I really hate all that clutter on the sides that the new design forced even with FBP.
And never mind, Revert Site is kicking Chrome back into a version of the mobile site which is even more unusable than new FB. Fuuuuuuuuuuuu…
Yep I had to turn RevertSite off for the time being. They’re trying to get it working again but it could be a while. I’m going to try the SfX thingy - thanks SmartAleq!
