Fahrenheit 11/9: Has anyone seen it, and if so, what did you think?

I’m planning to wait until it comes out on Netflix and/or DVD, but I’m surprised there isn’t a thread about this yet.

So, if you saw it, what did you think? No need for spoiler alerts, because we all know what it’s about.

I have not seen it yet but I intend to. I doubt I’ll make time to see it in the theatre tho.

No interest on my part. Moore is a condescending ass.

That doesn’t make him wrong.

My biggest problem with this film is that it’s low hanging fruit. Moore taking an anti Trump position! SHOCKER! I’ll make some effort to watch it at some point but I’d be very surprised if he breaks new ground with this.

Variety said something insightful about the movie’s somewhat underwhelming opening -

Here’s a review in The Atlantic

It asks the big dramatic question—“How the fuck did we get here?”

Do we really need Michael Moore to reveal that America did something stupid and explain why?

For me, the trouble is I hate MM so much, I might find myself siding with the trump fans.
