Hey! I hate to be picky, but this is supposed to be the fairly interesting thread. If we let people start posting quite interesting stuff here, then, before you know it, we will be overun with very and extremely interesting posts, eventually escalating to fascinating. And people like me, who don’t know anything that’s more than fairly interesting, will be left on the outside, looking in.
My favorite driving passtime, Identify the Dead Thing, has been fairly interesting the last few days. I have positive ID on 2 foxes, 1 deer, 1 raccoon, 1 opossum, 1 dog, and countless squirels. I like diversity.

The stove with a popping-off knob reminds me of a fairly interesting and somewhat creepy thing.
I had a movie poster in college of Norman Bates, from Psycho IV, I think, and it was on the wall directly over the head of my bed. All through school it was well behaved, until the last year. My senior year, when I was an RA and lived alone, it developed a habit of taking itself off the wall and flopping on my bed. It only did this when I was getting out of my clothes and into my pajamas - I could see its reflection in the mirror as I changed. One night it stayed on the wall long enough for me to get in bed and fall into a light sleep, then fell on me. After that it had to live in the closet.
