Anyone see the Xmas episode of this cartoon this year? Or last? I don’t think it’s been on—you know, the one where all the father can think about is eggnog and Timmy wishes it was Christmas every day? I keep seeing the Spongebob Christmas, and the Jonny Bravo Christmas was just on, but for some reason I haven’t been able to catch the Oddparents episode this year or last. Anyone know if they dont’ show it at all for some reason?
I was only half paying attention, but I think it aired sometime during the last week. There was, at least, an episode where Timmy wished is was some special day every day, but I don’t specifically remember it being Christmas. Everyone got more and more run down and gross looking as the episode continued.
I was reading a bedtime story to the little miss at the time and only glanced up from time to time.
I am pretty certain it was on Thursday (Dec. 22) and I seem to remember it on a couple of weeks ago.
Well that’s good to hear…I was afraid they had stopped showing it. I thought it strange how many times I’ve seen every other Xmas show this year, and how many times Oddparents has been on, without showing the Christmas episode.
Sounds like this one might be the one where Timmy wishes that people didn’t have to sleep. Without sleep, the folks of Dimmsdale (especially Cosmo and Wanda) become lethargic and ugly looking. Featuring Jackie Mason as Mr. Sandman (pronounced like a Jewish last name).
The description from the Zap2it TV listing describes it asThe Fairly OddParents: Christmas Every Day – Timmy wishes for Christmas to be celebrated every day of the year. It will be showing in 45 minutes in on the East Coast.
Very possibly that’s it. I recall also seeing a Jimmy Neutron lately where it’s his birthday over and over again. I probably got those two confused with the Fairly Oddparents Christmas.
You did. Fairly Oddparents Christmas was definitely on. Great stuff, very hip. The Jimmy Neutron Xmas one (where he doesn’t believe in Santa) was meh, except that I am certain Mel Brooks does the voice of Santa (way cool). Dang, kids are lucky today. Jimmy Neutron, Spongebob, Fairly Oddparents, Johnny Bravo, Grim Adventures, Powerpuff Girls… All we had was Rocky and Bullwinkle, and later George of the Jungle.
