Well, after the great turnout and great people I met at the Spring, cough Summer Dopefest, I will start the Fall Dopefest thread.
Any Saturday afternoon in October works well for me.D’Agostino’s worked well as a Dopefest site. The food was excellent and the drinks were reasonably priced.
I’m down wif dat. D’Ag’s was a great venue, and the schedule was just right, even with the Cub’s game.

It looks like I’ll be in Chicago periodically for a couple of years; subscribing to this thread.
Might work for lunch on the 22nd of August. Anywhere on the blue or red.

I agree in principle.
I agree in jeans and a t-shirt, with the requisite college sweatshirt. Represent!
I’m fine with Dags. Location works, plus pizza and booze in the same room = all right.
Currently all Saturdays in October are open to me.
October 19 or 26? They both work for me.
D’Agostino’s 1351 W Addison. 1 PM. That time worked well and there will not be Cubs baseball in October.
Both work for me. And I agree that we won’t have to worry about the Cubbies.
Subscribed. And both October 19th and 26th are free and clear for me at the moment.
Jusss…
Please…
If y…
Can there just please be a date for this thing?
Here, use the 19th. There may be Halloween stuff on the 26th.
Any objections?
Will be traveling on the 19th but majority rules.

I may be able to go as long as it’s not the weekend of the marathon (Oct. 12th-13th).
My calendar is OK for 19th, but my mother-in-law (93) has been having one problem after another, so I’m can’t give a 100% commitment. I’ll do my best.
When is there ever (that won’t immediately end with a humiliating defeat)?

Everyone still want to do the 19th? I’m free and eager for another meet up.
Still looks OK for me… However, my mother-in-law is 93, has been in and out of hospitals and rehabs, so I can never predict nothin’.

I could do it if it’s early enough in the afternoon.
