Anybody up for planning one?

Just saw this, and while I missed the last few, I’d be up to hear about another one.
It’s kind of funny, about southern California meets.
I’ve been on another board, small, for about 7 years.
On the East coast, we had meets frequently, and people often flew in for them. Nothing special about them, just meets; but people would drive hours to go to one.
Our west coast counterparts…well, I moved out here a year and a half ago, and it’s only been a couple of months since we drove up the coast a bit and finally bought our board host a beer. And pizza!
But with all the people in Cali on that board, people rarely meet up.
Maybe it’s a Cali thing 
I’ve got debate tournaments on the 16th and 30th. Other than that we’re clear.
Only if you consider the implications of an Octdoperfest!
The mind boggles.
I’m in the Valley; where’s everyone else?

The last time we went to dim sum in Los Angeles. The times before that we did the Yardhouse in Costa Mesa (did we do that two or three times in a row?) So any suggestions for this time?
Hell, if anybody wants to meet me at Faire this weekend or next in Ojai, that’d be cool (but I’m not holding my breath).

Pasadena here. I’m interested dependent on dates. I’ll be in DC for a week soon.

I’m working in the South Bay area. Mostly here Sunday night through Thursday, although I can put in a weekend here or there with advanced notice for planning.

I think you know damn well which valley is The Valley. Not that this one is any better.
October is in the middle of racing season, which puts me on the East Coast.
You all can get a look at my face if it’s in November.
