FALL IN! Military Doper Roll-Call

Aw right, LISSEN UP! All active-duty and reserve military please check in. Just CHECK IN, you don’t have to actually write ennythang funny or clever, Private Joker.

Service, rank and duty station, if you feel like it (and if it’s not classified).

Myself, I’m a Technical Sergeant (E-6) in the U.S. Air Force, proudly serving at Fort Meade, Maryland.

I’d love to know how many comrades I’ve got out there.

As for the veterans, I want to say this: Thanks for everything. Your service, your time, your blood and sacrifice. Thanks for all we have as Americans. We all owe you BIG.

I would LOVE it if the vets would start a roll-call, too.

yes sergeant.

was active duty, finished up in the National Guard, ETS as of last month! (Thank the Lord!!!)

Corporal, (E-4), 11Bravo(Infantry) in the U.S. Army.
served at Ft.Benning, Ft.Drum
trained at Ft.Benning, Ft.Bragg, Ft.Polk, Ft.Drum, Ft.Dix, Westpoint, Camp Smith.

It was fun while it lasted, at least active duty, but the Guard unit sucked. No organization, total goat-f*$#! I am now an official Civilian with IRR (Inactive Ready Reserve) status for the next two years.

Wow, i was just down in Ft.Meade this weekend, going back this next weekend for the fireworks at the reflection pool. Happy 4th all.

I had the fortune to get out of the Air Force after 5 years of service, in both California and Aviano Italy.

Four years active duty Air Force, stationed in Torrejon, Spain, and then Lackland AFB, TX (from 78-82), forced out. Joined Air Force Guard in 92, still in. Just spent 2 weeks at Prince Sultan AB, Saudi . E-5, waiting for a retirement so I can sew on E-6

And now, after 12 years, I’m getting the *&#$ out and going to make some real money. Certain Democrats in the White House have made it so I really don’t want to be here anymore (not that I haven’t felt proud to be doing it up until now).

Well, since the vets and retirees are posting here too, I’ll go ahead.

I’ll be an Ensign in January, and from what I’ve seen from Star Trek, I’m not sure I like that idea. I’ll be most likely going off to Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, Rhode Island in January as well. After six months there, they’ll send me to a ship somewhere, most likely (assuming I get one of my top four choices) somewhere in the Pacific.

what? am i the only army around these here parts? sheesh, talk about lonely. always the way, one infantryman goes on ahead while all the other fellas stay on their ships and at base drinkin’ beers and kicking up their feet, i tell ya, sheesh!
